Gerald L. Coleman was born on April 3, 1968 to the late Horace Osbourne and the late Catherine Coleman in Baltimore, MD. He was preceded in death by his brother, John Coleman and his oldest two grandchildren, Amaya Smith and Nicholas. He was the eighth child of nine. He went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, February 7, 2022 in Baltimore, MD. Though his passing was unexpected, his memories live on with those he left behind. Gerald accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior. He attended Baltimore City Public Schools. Finishing the 9th grade at Northwestern High School. Though he didn't complete his formal education, he was gifted mechanically and artistically. He could draw anything you placed in front of him and worked well with his hands a trait passed down from his dad. He loved his family, music, dancing and cooking. His union with Stacey Smith created his one and only daughter, TaShawn Smith and his union with Lorna Taylor created his only son, Jeremy Taylor. He leaves to mourn, one aunt Elores Stanley, one uncle, Timothy (Gloria) Darden. His children, TaShawn (Julian) Ramos and Jeremy Taylor. His siblings, Levy (Elaine) Colman, Cathy Copeland, Elores (Michael) Cooper, Henry Colman, Marvin (Donna) Coleman, Donnell Woodward and Theresa Coleman. His grandchildren, Karmyn Taylor, Dominick, Xavier and Alexander Ramos and Jah'Kor Taylor. His nieces and nephews, Antwan (Tyenne) Copeland, Micah (Raynette) Copeland, Michelle and Michelle Cooper, Keiyana Coleman, Deana Copeland, Nicole (Brandon) Allen, Ortigo and Christian Coleman, Saisha Coleman and Janiya Barnes. Great nieces and nephews, Asia, Desiree, Ryan, Makayla, Makenzie, Trae, Nadia, Amaya, Darius, Nylah, Aria, Liberty and Israel. He also leaves to cherish a host of other relatives and close friends.
