Elizabeth Ann Graves

For we walk by faith, not by sight.II Corinthians 5:7Elizabeth Ann Graves, daughter of the late Nesbitt H. and Sarah Buckson, was born September 30, 1950 in Baltimore, Maryland. She departed this life on July 1, 2007 at Union Memorial Hospital.Elizabeth gave her life to Christ at an early age being baptized at Israel Baptist Church. She later rededicated her life to Christ at Grace Baptist Church. Elizabeth was affectionately called “Ann” by all who knew her.She was educated in the Baltimore City Public School System and attended college. Ann worked in several capacities with different companies before settling at Neighborcare where she retired in 2005 to care for her ailing husband, Charles Graves who preceded her in death on November 16, 2005. Ann was very family oriented and frequently hosted gatherings at her home for family and friends to socialize. She was outspoken, sassy, brassy and a lovable person to all who knew her and being in her company you were sure to laugh. Ann was an avid traveler, liked playing cards and enjoyed shopping. Ann’s grandchildren, nieces, nephews and the youth that came in contact with her were special to her heart, her house was never without young people and the sound of joy.Ann leaves to cherish her memory: her son, Linwood Buckson; daughter-in-law, Paula, Jermaine Davis, Kavon Graves and Raoul; daughters, Denise and Keisha Graves; loving grandchildren, Deaunte, Linwood Jr., Michelle, Deandre, Koron, Tyler and A’Zoey; great-granddaughter, Danea; mother-in-law, Ruth Graves; loving and devoted brothers, Nesbitt Buckson Jr. (Virginia Beach, Virginia), Sylvester Buckson, Ronald Buckson, Marion Buckson and Thomas J. Buckson Sr.; sisters-in-law and friends, Pamela Buckson, Victoria Buckson and Robin Buckson; dedicated sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Lois Taylor and husband, Melvin Taylor, Bea Sullivan, Bonnie and Douglass, Elaine Graves, Pamela Dennis, Carol and Edward Brooks, Kim and Steven Armstrong and Barbara and Charlie Griffin of Pemberton, New Jersey; and a host of aunts, nieces, nephews, and cousins; including her sister-in-friendship and love, Brenda Marshall and special friends, Joanie Baines and Kenneth Yow.
