    July 31, 1925 - November 20, 2021

    DOROTHY MOORE, the beloved daughter of the late Alice Johnson and the late Harry Gross was born on July 31, 1925 in Baltimore, Maryland. She peacefully departed this life as she lived with her loving family @ her side whom she loved gracefully and unconditionally. Dorothy attended Baltimore City Public Schools. She held numerous jobs, and completed her tenure working @ GATZ WIREGOOD FACTORY for many years. She also stood as A PILLARE OF THE SOUTH BALTIMORE COMMUNITY, where she met and married the late Halton Wilson Moore in 1944 out of that union they were blessed with 4 children the late Halton JR (Hawky" Moore, survived by her only daughter Sheila Maria Moore, her son the late Anthony "Antny" Roland Moore, and the late Harold Lindsey Moore while serving on THE SOUTH BALTIMORE PLANNING COMMITTEE, where she became notably revered as A HISTORICAL WELL RESPECTED FIGURES OF THE SHARP LEADEANHALL COMMUNITY. Dorothy affectionately known as "DOT" always had an open door policy, kitchen, and ear and above all else HEART where she gracefully accepted the soul of anyone no matter the situation, circumstance or posture in life she had insatiable love to love others without judgement or withholding sacrifice. Dot being the Matriarch of the family endowed to her family THE IMPORTANCE OF FAMILY AND CONNECTION, that first impressions are lasting impressions that, "It didn't matter where you lived, it's how you lived." Dot loved to spend time with her family, listen to music especially STEP IN THE NAME OF LOVE, AND JESUS IS LOVE. DOT was a GREAT CONVERSATIONALIST no matter the relationship or not, she was a living NEW STATION for all of the current events would KNOW ALL THAT'S going on and be it good or bad she would always say, "I will take it to my grave, before I tell anybody." Secrets are good as kept in the pocket of DOT'S heart where she only shared with you and LORD because as quite as kept you never heard it repeated or shamed by her or mother. DOT loved to cook for her family and will be forever be missed on Sundays for them famous Dot biscuits, hamburger and gravy. DOT made it her life mission to be in the lives of all who knew her in their own special way and we all knew her the way we knew her. Dot famous words. "That's my Dirden & Sharp as a Tact." was her way of admiring and appreciating the beauty in every Woman or Man that was in her presence. Dot was preceded in death by her sister Mae Francis Ringgold. (1) Great grandson Isaiah Moore. (1) nephew Donnell Ringgold She leaves to cherish her memory: Only daughter Sheila Maria Moore, One Daughter in Law Pamela Moore-Martin (3) grandsons Britt, Harold "Devin", and Mark (6) granddaughters Tracey, Giesha, Geneane, Shantiah, and Tinika. (2) Grandsons in-law jack and Joel, (2) grand-daughter in-law Lynica and Kelly (20) greatgrand children Shannah "Bootsie", Shakia "Ki-Ki, "destiny "Des", Teya, jaylan, "Jay", Ashan "San", Sevyn, Emmanuel, Tyler, Derrell, Jack IV, Joequan, Joel Jr. Alexis, Essence, Alecia, Mark, Yasmine, Noah, Michael, Kaci, Kaiden, Khloe, Kassidy. (2) Nieces, Natasha, Jacqueline (3) nephews Craig, Kenneth, and Juan and a special cousin Rosie Blue and Helen Partlow and host of great nieces, nephews cousins friends and family.
