September 11, 1960 - January 7, 2022
DIANA DENISE McDANIEL was born in Baltimore, Maryland on September 11, 1960 to Mynus McDaniel (deceased) and Axcie McDaniel. She entered into eternal rest on January 7, 2022. She was educated in Baltimore City Public Schools. Years later Diana returned to Baltimore City Public Schools as a devoted Custodian at Edgecombe Circle Elementary School, Ashburton Elementary School and Arlington Elementary School. She was adored by the kids, faculty and staff. Diana was also adored by customers and coworkers she encountered at Sam’s Club and most recently her clients and co-workers at Penn-Mar Human Services. Diana was always happy and known for her smile, giving spirit, words of wisdom and love. One of the happiest days of her life was when she and her best friend, Harold Harvey (deceased) welcomed their bundle of joy, their daughter Candice. Diana was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend. She was known for being the life of the party, enjoying every bit of life. “Hey Girl” or “Hey Cuz” could be heard as she entered a room and embraced her loved ones with a tight hug and a big smile. She encountered every person she met with love, encouragement, and support. Diana leaves to cherish wonderful memories: her daughter, Candice Hill; son-in-law, Terrell Hill, Sr.; two grandsons, Terrell Hill, Jr. (Kayla) and Trevon Hill; granddaughter, Cori Hill; great-granddaughter, Kiera Hill; mother, Axcie McDaniel; sister, Linda McDaniel; two brothers, James McDaniel (Gail) and Kirk McDaniel (Cynthia); four nieces, Gail Sessoms, Tarsha McDaniel, Amber Lesane and Yvonne McDaniel; two nephews, Anthony Felder and James McDaniel; special cousins, Dildra Lax, Demetris Artis, Juanita Anderson, Jacqueline Flythe, Wendy McLean and Tracey Young; special friend, Eula Hartley; a host of great -nieces and -nephews, family and friends.
