August 5, 1955 - January 18, 2022
Legacy of Life Clyde Chandler, lovingly known as “Teddy,” age 66, passed away Tuesday, January 18, 2022. On August 5, 1955, he was born in Tappahannock, Virginia, to Lillie and David Chandler. He was a graduate of John Marshall High School in 1973. Though he loved country living, he resided in Richmond, Virginia, while working at Nabisco Inc. for 32 years, where he retired to spend time with loved ones and continue practicing his hobbies. He was a beloved son, spouse, father, grandfather, and uncle who prided himself on being a helping hand to those he cherished. Clyde had many talents, and most saw him as a jack of all trades. He loved socializing with friends and family, building, sketching, DIY projects, watching Westerns and the San Antonio Spurs or the Miami Dolphins play. He is survived by his loving long time spouse of over 20 years, Angela Jones; children, Jennifer A. Jones, Tyree K. Chandler (Candace Boyle), Michael D. Price, Leah C. Jones; three grandchildren, Thomas Chandler, Phillip Chandler, Tyson Chandler; siblings, Nettie Mae Wright, DL (Shenetta), Chandler Jr., Viola Elizabeth Howlett (Wilbur), Earl Thomas Chandler (Brenda), Josephine Ross (Johnny), Patricia Ann Wright (Lewis), Arlene Chandler, numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. God saw the load was getting heavy and the hills were hard to climb So, He closed his weary eyelids and whispered, “Peace Be Thine” With our love! The Family
