    Clarence Sylvester Perry

    February 8, 1955 - May 25, 2021

Legacy of Life All those we love are a part of us,for things of beauty leave their trace, and memories of all we have shared, are treasures time cannot erase. Clarence Sylvester Perry was born February 8, 1955 in Suffolk County, Virginia to Thelma Perry. He was preceded in death by his mother and his sister Paulette Anderson. Clarence was united in holy matrimony to Cheryl Lynn Fuller (the daughter of the late Bennie Fuller and Effie Fuller of Danville, Virginia) on December 24, 1988 in Danville, Virginia. Their union was blessed with two children. For 38 years of dedicated service he was employed by Westwood Racquet Club in Richmond as a Landscaper / Maintenance. In his leisure, he enjoyed cooking, yard work, and listening to old school music. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Cheryl Perry of Danville, Virginia; two beloved daughters, Charisse and Crystal Perry; sister, Joyce A. Shelton of Richmond; sister-in-law, Theresa Crews of Danville; brother-in-law, Jeff Fuller of Bangor, Maine; and two very special friends, Jewel Davis Johnson of Richmond and Gary Johnson of South Carolina, and a host of other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. The harvest does not speak of an untimely cutting down of the grain; rather it speaks of it being in its season. Therefore, the life lived by our departed love one should not be viewed as untimely, but in it’s season, the season of God’s choosing. Embrace the appreciation for the one that gave life, gave provision, good or bad; realizing it all is granted possible through the blessings of Jesus Christ.
