Clarence Redmond Bullock

CLARENCE R. BULLOCK was born on January 17, 1934 in Halifax County, North Carolina. He was the tenth child of thirteen children born to the late Cicero and Bertha Bullock. Clarence received his education in North Carolina. He was a member of the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. He joined the army in 1952 with an honorable discharge. He was a foreman at Marylou Enterprise LLC Construction Co. for 35 years until he retired. His passion was fishing. He loved baseball and gardening. He was married to the late Mildred Benson and from that union nine children were born, five boys who are deceased and four girls, Gwendolyn, Michelle, Shelia, Cynthia, a host of grandkids, nieces, and nephews. On June 11, 1988 he was married to Rosetta Jefferson and from this union one child was born Rochello Bullock; and two step-sons, Rickey (deceased) and Dennis. He leaves to cherish his memory: his wife, Rosie; one sister, Elizabeth Washington; one brother, David Bullock and sister-in-law. Rev. Doctor Annie Lemaster; three sons-in-law, Anthony Singleton, Frank Rose and Larry Patterson; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
