Brian Barber

Brian Darnay Barber, 29 years of age, beloved son, brother, uncle and friend departed from this life Thursday, June 22, 2023.He was born March 19, 1994, in Baltimore, Maryland, to Alonzo Barber Jr. and to the late Brenda Ann Barber. Brian was especially loved, by his father Alonzo Barber, and his late mother Brenda Barber, and his sister Barbara Lynn Barber. Brian attended Milford Mill Academy and Towson High School in Baltimore County. In Brian’s early childhood he began his football journey with the Woodlawn Falcons and continued this journey until he turned 15 years old. Brian played offensive and defensive lineman, cornerback, and later he switched to quarterback. He was very competitive, motivating, and loyal to his teammates. Brian had various occupations, but he loved cooking the most, with his work ethics and dedication. This helped him to become an expert crab steamer, which he enjoyed. Brian greatly touched a lot of people due to the rememberable conversations while preparing people crabs as he always wanted to have his own business of working with crabs. He also worked for Blue’s skies moving company, and he also loved learning new techniques as a warehouse worker. Brian was a loving, kindhearted, caring, and giving person. Brian enjoyed, Batman, wrestling, The Baltimore Ravens, music, and more. Brian was friendly no matter who you are he always had a warm greeting. He was comical, and made everyone laugh. When he came around, he had infinite amount of saying, whether you’ve heard one or more of these saying, “love you to the bone gristle”, “got to make this paper cheese", and "make sure you are around positivity for your peace”, due to seeing him walking, using the MTA transits, at different functions, kickbacks and many more. His life will forever be cherished in the lives of his father Alonzo Barber Jr., stepmother Stephanie Barber, sister Barbara Wilson, brother-in-law Garfield Wilson, stepbrother Justin Garvin, nieces Eboni Barber and Jamira Shird, nephew Tyrez Shird. Close friends known as brothers Keron, Tyree, David, Sean, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Bandit the family dog, always rushed to him and they both enjoyed each other’s presence..
