    Booker T. Curbeam, Jr.

    May 3, 1953 - September 1, 2021

BOOKRT T. CURBEAM, JR. was born to the late Pauline and Booker T. Curbeam Sr. on May 3, 1953, in Baltimore, MD. He departed this life on Suddenly September 1, 2021. Booker T., also known as “Jimmy” or “Junior” received his education in the Baltimore City school system. He gained employment with Baltimore City Department of Sanitation for 36 years until he retired. Throughout his life, Junior enjoyed the simply things, whether it was enjoying his favorite foods or listening to his favorite songs. He wasn’t a hard man to understand and his simplicity made him unique. “Junior” enjoyed living life on his terms and being true self unapologetically. Whomever he came in contact with was surely unable to forget his warm smile and humorous personality. Preceding him in death are, his parents Pauline and Booker T. Curbeam Sr., brothers Leon and Eddie Lee Curbeam, and sister Jessica Ann Curbeam. Booker T. leaves to cherish his memory: his children, Maria Henry, Craig Curbeam, Sharifah Curbean-Ridgeway, Donnetta Curbeam. Rosamond Curbeam - Ravenell, Tiara Thomas, and Tavon Curbeam; fourteen grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; one surviving sister, Geanette Robinson; two brothers, Larry and Anthony Curbeam; one surviving aunt Carolyn Heidelberg; and a host of nieces, nephew, other relatives, and friends.
