Beulah Lee Mason

January 17, 1938 - February 9, 2022

Tuesday, February 9, 2022, Beulah Lee Mason was called home to be with the Lord and join her beloved husband of 60 years Samuel Edison Mason and Big Sister Martha. Beulah Lee was born January 17, 1938 in Nash County, North Carolina to the late Lucy John Dortch. Beulah obtained her education from the Baltimore City Public School System as a graduate from Paul Laurence Dunbar High School class of 1956. Beulah gave birth to her one and only wonderful son Michael Delanuel Dortch. On January 9, 1960 Samuel E. Mason married Beulah Dortch. Beulah worked as a nurse aide and for the Elbrith Company before she retired from Catalyst Research in 2003. Beulah Lee loved to skate and dance. Her mother used to say "She would rather dance than eat". She loved to party and have a good time with family and friends. She enjoyed traveling and going on shopping trips with friends. Spending time with family brought her much joy, especially holidays and birthdays. She leaves to cherish her memory baby sister Georgia Stuckey; wonderful sister in laws Herdell Hudgins and Aileen Allen; a niece who was more like a daughter Angela Carrington; close friends/sisters Bernice,Betty, ,Helen,Annie,Alice ,Helen S.(deceased) and Inez Woodard. A host of nieces, nephews and other relatives. She is preceded in death by her husband Samuel Mason; son Michael Dortch, Mother Lucy Dortch; Sisters Martha Wagstaff, Ethel Garnes and brother John Eaddy.
