    September 23, 1998 - April 1, 2022

    Ashlee Nicole Walmsley departed her life on Friday, April 1, 2022 in Providence, Rhode Island. She was born on September 23, 1998 to Joseph Walmsley and Sheila Bullock, in Richmond, VA. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Henry Lee Bullock, grandmother, Mary Hall, brother, Vincent Brown Jr. and brother in heart, Corlin Johnson. Ashlee graduated from Highland Spring High School in 2016 and furthered her education in nursing and received her CNA and Medical Assistant Certification. She moved to Rhode Island to continue her nursing career and was enrolled at Community College of Rhode Island to become a registered nurse. She was an employee of Intely Care, Inc. in Massachusetts. Ashlee was dedicated and passionate about nursing because she really loved caring for others including family members when called upon. She had a heart of gold and a TRUE DIVA and devoted loving person to all who came in contact with her. Taking pictures and sharing any special moments on social media was Ashlee’s forte. The proudest moment in her life was on June 26, 2020 when she gave birth to her beautiful daughter, Paisley Nicole. Ashlee was known to her family as “Mama Lou”, “Bogger Bear”, “Pork Chop”, “Butt Head” and “Ashcake”. She leaves to cherish her memories, daughter, Paisley Nicole Damon; devoted mother, Sheila Bullock and her father, Joseph Walmsley; aunt/mom, Nancy Brown; sister, Asia Lighfoot; brothers, Lardadian Banian and Joseph Walmsley Jr.; sisters in heart, Ebony Johnson and Kyra Johnson; caring grandparents, Margie (Darnell) Moss and Charles Hall; aunt, Sharon Perry; uncles, Anthony Bullock, Vincent Bullock, George Alexander, Vincent Brown Sr., James (Julia) Walmsley, Wilton (Denise) Walmsley, Herbert (Sandra) Walmsley, Michael (Tammy) Hazard, Dion (Delicia) Hazard, and Darrell Hazard; nieces, Za’Nyah French and Malayah Barrera; nephew, Vaylen Brown; special cousins, Anteeja Bullock, Shavae Bullock, Takeyha Langston and Taylor Langston; friend, Tyrell Damon; god-mothers, Cassandra Carrington, April Jiggetts and Velvia Woolridge; god-brothers, Anjuan Judkins and DeQuan Mills; special friends for life, Ezsiana Lee, Teonna Tarry, Kiara Crenshaw Matos, Quintazia Tay” Jordan, Ieisha Briggs and Lashawn Briggs; a host of great-aunts, great-uncles, great great aunts, great-great uncles, cousins and multitude of other family and friends.
