Anthony Wayne Jackson
August 11, 1956 - November 3, 2021
“For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God and a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.” II Corinthians 5:1 Anthony W. Jackson, born to Ruth Little and beloved son of the late Napolean and Blannie Doyle, was born on August 11, 1956 in Baltimore, Maryland. He departed this life on Wednesday November 3, 2021, after a lengthy illness. Anthony graduated from Northwestern Senior High School in 1976. After graduation he attended Morgan State University to study psychology. He then began a career with the Baltimore City Department of Recreation and Parks in 1977. In 1993 he was promoted to Public Works Engineer for the Baltimore City Department of Public Works. In 2001 Anthony married the love of his life Ruth, where they enjoyed traveling, cooking, and taking care of their beautiful home. Anthony loved horse racing and wearing designer fashions. At an early age, Anthony joined Calvary Baptist Church where he developed and nurtured his love for the Lord. He was a devoted servant of the church. Although battling numerous illnesses, he refused to be defeated in his living testimony proclaiming his faith for the Lord. Anthony continued to praise and worship the Lord, until He called him home. He will truly be missed. He leaves to cherish his loving memory: his wife, Ruth, two sisters, Evelyn Doyle and Katie McRae, one brother, Benny Mc Rae (Beverly), one mother-in-law, Laura Brogdon (Mack) , one sister-in-law Brenda Montgomery (Shaun), two brothers- in- law, Leonard Brogden, Johnny Brogden, two special brothers Aaron Johnson, Antonio Lee, two daughters Deaneen Jackson , Antonia Cruz (Ray), one step-son Craig Griffin (Yvonne) a host of grand-children, other relatives, and friends.
