    May 21, 1932 - January 16, 2022

    Ann Johnson (Mary) known as Ann daughter of the late John Jackson and Marie Louise Jackson, was born on May 21,1932 in Baltimore, Maryland. She departed this life on January 16, 2022 after an short illness. Out of the union of John and Marie Jackson, came eight siblings: Pearl Fisher, proceeded in death three sisters Emma Dickerson, Josephine Aguire, Viola Sterling, three brother's George Jackson, Herbert Jackson, and Robert Jackson. Ann received her education in Baltimore City Public School. She loved wearing her hats, going to family gatherings being with her daughters, sons, grand-children and great-grandchildren and friends were she would dance and have lots of fun. Couple of her favorite saying, will read you write and erased you, I love you from a distance. Her favorite artist was Mahalia Jackson and favorite song, Grandmas Hands. She was a very caring person that would open her home up to family and whoever needed a place to stay. She worked at Arundel for a short while. Later she was employed by John Cookman Boyd and Nancy Long Boyd 40 years until she retired. After her 89th birthday her health decline and she was receiving Hospice care at her daughter home until she peacefully transitioned to be with the with Lord. Proceeded in death late husband James Johnson Senior; two sons David Johnson and Herbert Broaddus. Ann leaves to cherish her memory: one sister Pearl Fisher; one son James Johnson, two daughters Nancy Thompson, Louise Ewohime, John T. Broaddus; 6 grand-children Duane Dixon, Dennis Thompson, Marques Thompson, Walter Vickers, Britany Mitchell, Seletta Broaddus-Jones; 17 great-children Raymond Dixon, D’Angela Dixon, Daeshawn Thompson, Juwan Dixon, Gavyn Bryant, Tywon Jones, Keira Thompson, Tatum Thompson, Zion Broaddus, Devyn Bryant, Damari Vickers, Marques Thompson (MJ), Kamryn Bryant, Tyliah Jones, Walter Vickers (J’obe) Wyatt Vickers, Wade Vickers and a host of nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.
