Alexander Timothy Gray

ALEXANDER TIMOTHY GRAY was born in Baltimore, Maryland on October 15, 1967, to James and Helen Gray. Tim, as he was affectionately called, was the first of two children, and was a complete joy and blessing to his parents.Tim always believed in doing his best and believed in hard work. As soon as he was old enough to work, he got his first job at Augsburg Lutheran Home & Village. He stayed at Augsburg until graduating from Milford Mill Senior High School in 1986. He also attended Catonsville Community College. Although Tim's illness created difficult times for him over the years, he was a valued employee with London Fog, McCormick Spice Company, BJ's and Carroll County Community College. Tim was well liked by his friends and co-workers because of his always positive attitude, friendly smile and cheerful heart. Tim was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church and served as Vice-President, Usher and sang on the TOSS Choir.In 1997, Tim married Patrice Teel, and from that union was born a daughter, Taylor Marie Gray. Taylor, along with Tim's children Brandon and Jasmine (from his high school sweetheart, Nita Ward), and his stepson Dante, all enjoyed a wonderful life with their Dad. To Tim, every Sunday was family day and he had a rule never to work on Sunday because he wanted to spend time with his children. Tim and his family enjoyed many Sunday outings and vacations together.Tim was avid about sports and played in little league baseball as a child. He loved major league baseball and football. Tim collected baseball caps, and acquired a rare baseball card collection. In addition, he loved cars and attending car shows. Tim was a huge comic book fan and had developed a book collection.Tim leaves to mourn: his wife, Patrice Gray; three children, Brandon, Jasmine and Taylor Gray; a stepson, Dante Brown, Jr. He also leaves his mother, Helen Gray; his father, James Gray; his sister, Katherine Gray; his grandmother, Gertrude Vaughn. He leaves his nephews, Anthony Baylor, Darius Murray and Jordan Murray; his great uncle, Rev. P.H. Shepperson; a great aunt, Queenie Hardaway; aunts, Doris Goods, Bernice Duckette, Dorothy McLaurin, Carolyn Vaughn, Thelma Moore and Cleo Street; an uncle, Dennis Vaughn; his cousins, Kevin Street, Carolyn Ellis and Maceo Young; his mother-in-law, Patricia Teel; a sister-in-law, LaKeisha Murray; a brother-in-law, Phillip Murray; and a host of relatives and friends.
