April 6, 1928 - December 15, 2021
“Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me. My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am.” John 14:1-3 Ada Faelarkin Diamond Harris, affectionately known as Faye Diamond Harris gained her wings on Wednesday, December 15, 2021. She was born the daughter of George Washington Diamond and Emily Josephine Stuart Diamond in Natural Bridge, Virginia on April 6, 1928. She was the youngest of 13 siblings. She moved to Richmond, VA in her early adult years where she met and married Nathaniel Harris, Sr. She was a member of Natural Bridge Baptist Church, where she was baptized at an early age and her love for the Lord continued on to Mount Tabor Baptist Church in Richmond, Virginia where she was a faithful servant for the Lord as a member of the choirs, and various Church Ministries and organizations. She was a loving and supportive “Matriarch” for her family and loved them all unconditionally. Her family was everything to her and she loved spending holidays and birthdays and special events with her family. No one was a stranger to Faye. She was a sweet, compassionate, elegant lady who shined a light on everyone she came in contact with. She was a true example of the reflection of God’s love and the servant nature of Christ. Ada was predeceased by her daughters, Linda Francine Wallace and Theresa Anne Morgan. She leaves to cherish her memories son Nathaniel Harris, Jr. and daughter, Angela V. Strong (Zach); four granddaughters, dearly devoted Maisha McIntosh (Carlos), Taisha Thompson (Joseph), Rashanda Sherman (Terrance), and Brittany Pryer; five grandsons, Roland Smith (Raven), Ramon Smith, James Wallace (Telisha), Willie Morgan, Jr., and Brandon Pryer; nineteen great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Emily Diamond Lowry; and a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and family. “If you are looking for me, I’m not gone, I’m just home” Rest in Peace, We love you!
