    Aaron Jerome Wiggins

    March 15, 1961 - April 21, 2022

Aaron Jerome Wiggins was born on Tuesday, March 15, 1961 to his loving parents, Veronica Dorothy Holley-Wiggins and Edward Jerome Wiggins, in Providence, Rhode Island. Aaron attended Lafayette Elementary school in Baltimore, Maryland, before he transferred to St. Edwards (also in Baltimore, Maryland). As a child, Aaron was an opened minded, kind boy who could always make you laugh; he never lost any of those traits throughout his life. Aaron worked a few various jobs after graduating from St. Francis High School; shortly after, he decided to join the Air Force to better himself. He was honorably discharged from the force after serving his country for a period of time, then worked another set of various jobs until he began working alongside his mother, a spirited entrepreneur who ran a number of active businesses. Aaron met the love of his life, Virginia Wiggins, in June of 1981 at his cousin Dawn Wilson's wedding, In 1992, Aaron and Virginia decided to call it forever, and were married on August 15 of that year. Through their union came his only daughter, Ashley Niccole Wiggins. The creation of his new family inspired Aaron to broaden his horizons; subsequently, he began working with Rouse Co. as a Environmental Technician at Mondawmin Mall. Aaron was quickly promoted to a position as supervisor of the department, where he met several of his lifelong friends. After 15 years of service at Mondawmin Mall, Aaron moved forward in his career and began working with General Growth Properties (now called Brookfield Properties) as a Facilities Technician and would have celebrated his 25th year with the company on Monday, April 25, 2022. Aaron was an energetic and loving man, as well as a big fan of jazz and R&B music. Although he was well known to enjoy his off days at home with his immediate family, he always made sure to be there for others when it really mattered. Aaron had a smile ready for everyone, and was always willing to go the extra mile if it meant making someone else's life just a little easier. Aaron was a jack-of-all-trades, and dabbled in several hobbies that he usually participated in with his family, especially his cousin Desmond "Desi" Holley Sr. Some of these hobbies included: maintaining his saltwater aquarium, being a DJ for and coordinating family events, building remote radio-controlled cars and airplanes, raising his bird, Jax, and playing video games. Aaron and his daughter especially bonded over watching tv together. If he wasn't at work or working on another of his hobbies, you could usually find him curled up in an armchair, watching a movie with his baby girl - and sometimes his wife, if she decided to sit in on one! Although Aaron was active in many aspects of life, his greatest joy was his family, whom he loved dearly. Aaron suddenly - yet peacefully - transitioned to his heavenly home in the early hours of Thursday, April 21, 2022 Aaron leaves to carry on his legacy: Wife and soulmate of 30 years / Virginia Wiggins Daughter / Ashley Niccole Wiggins Father / Edward Jerome Wiggins Brother / Huntington (Winkey) Wiggins Sisters / Sabrina Hill and Nikki Kennedy Grandchildren / Rasheed W.
