Willie Lee O'Cain

Willie Lee O'Cain Sr. (Aka Boy Shortie) Was born on May 17, 1931, in Warren Alabama to the late Joseph and Pearl O'Cain who preceded him in death along with four Brothers, Johnny O'Cain, Daniel O'Cain, Joe Lee O'Cain, and Nathaniel O'Cain. Two Sisters; Marie Butler and Zelma Moorer. Two sons, Willie Lee O'Cain Jr. (Junie) and Steven O'Cain (daughter-In-Law Wanda O'Cain) One Daughter, Saundra O'Cain. He departed this life on Wednesday, December 7, 2022, at Medstar Harbor Hospital. Willie lived in Baltimore Maryland for 45 years, where he was married to the late Reby O'Cain. This union formed five children and a host of grandchildren. Willie was employed at Stop Shop & Save fulfilling his duties in our community as a transport for many years. He then gained employment at the Lebanon Chemical Company where he retired from. He Loved praising God and serving in his church (St John Christian Community Baptist Church) Music was his passion, and he sang in the gospel quartet group called The Southland Singers of Baltimore Maryland. He was a great fisherman that love to fish in the Gulf of Mexico. Willie moved to Mobile Alabama in 2004 where he became ill and needed medical attention. 2018 Willie Moved to Chesterfield VA. With his loving family, then later back to Chesterfield VA. Willie was a kind loving man and was more of a father figure to most he met. His pride and joy were all his kids and spending time with family. It gave him closure coming back home to Baltimore. He was spending time with his kids during his final hours as he slipped away to be with the Lord.
