Wayne A. Goodson

WAYNE A. GOODSON entered this world on May 14, 1964 and went home to be with his Heavenly Father on November 24, 2013. Wayne was born in Baltimore, Maryland and was the youngest child born to Franklin and Shirley Goodson. He was educated in Baltimore City Public Schools and he graduated from Edmondson High School in 1983. Following graduation he went to work in the electrical field. He worked for some time at AAI, Corp and his last employment was with ZenTech Corp. In 1992 he was married to the late Hope Goodson and at that time became the father to Crystal Gallion. Wayne enjoyed his life. He enjoyed working of cars and playing music with his cousin. He was an avid fan of The Washington Redskins and of NASCAR racing. He was the person who always kept the family laughing and he was the one who they could always count on when they were in need. He loved being there for his loved ones and would do anything that they needed. But, there is no question that the greatest joy in his life was his daughter, Kaniyah. She was clearly the apple of her daddy's eye and she had him wrapped around her little finger. Wayne was preceded in death by his wife, Hope Goodson and two sisters, Earlma P. Granger and Shirley Ann Eldridge. He leaves to cherish his memory: one loving daughter, Kaniyah Goodson; his devoted parents, Franklin and Shirley Goodson, Sr.; his loving grandmother, Mary Franks; three sisters, Cynthia (Tyrone, Sr.) Blackwell, Sharon (David) Tomlin, Angela (Mark) Cooley; one brother, Franklin (Linda) Goodson, Jr.; one step-daughter, Crystal Gallion; his devoted and loving companion, Kathleen Hackett; nieces, Tandrea (Andre) Webb, Tynacia Blackwell, Chanee' (Daniel, Jr.) Robinson, Dawn (Antwahn) Perry, Marquia Cooley and Candice Cooley; nephews, Reginald Eldridge, Tyrone Blackwell, Jr., Forte' Goodson and Clarence Granger, Jr.; great-nieces, Cymone Eldridge, Kayla Eldridge, Madison Blackwell, Maliyah Webb and Taelynn Goodson; great-nephews, Don “DJ” Parker, Noah Blackwell, Daniel Robinson III, Raman Artis, Aiden Perry, Anthony Eldridge, Reginald Eldridge II, Aubre Eldridge and Christopher Eldridge; a step-grandson, Emory Woods and a host of aunts, uncles, cousin, other relatives and friends.
