Warren Neil Sydnor

Reflections of Life ''He fought a good.fight, he kept the faith, he finished the course" Warren Neil Sydnor was born November 7, 1960. He gracefully transitioned from this life to be with the Lord Almighty on October 25, 2016. Warren was preceded in death by his parents, John and Martha Sydnor, one sister, Joan Gregory, one brother, Joseph Sydnor and one brother-in-law, Reginald Lovelace. Warren accepted Jesus Christ at an early age and became a member of the Ebenezer Apostolic Church of Our Lord Jesus Christ in Church Hill, VA. Later after visiting Mosby Memorial Baptist Church he fell in love and decided to receive the Right Hand of Fellowship. He served on the Men's Ushers Board, while also serving as a Greeter for the church. Even in his illness, he loved to serve the Lord with gladness. Warren had remarkable dedication and commitment in every aspect of his life. He worked for Oakwood Mobile Homes for 38 years and in 1990, started his own business, "Sydnor Mobile Homes, Inc.". Warren was a great husband, father, grandfather, brother, godfather, relative and friend. He was a world traveler and loved taking family trips. Some of his passions were playing golf and collecting coins. His heartfelt generosity, warm spirit, sense of humor, and laugher will be greatly missed. Warren leaves us to cherish his wonderful memories, a loving wife of 24 years, Regina Yvette Sydnor, two sons, Marcus Toney-US Navy stationed in Greece and Di'Juan Sydnor of Richmond, VA. Six daughters, Sabrina Jones of Emporia, VA, Teresa Sydnor of Los Vegas, NV, Shadrea Carter, Kelly Smith, Shandrea Sydnor and Fayth Sydnor all of Henrico, VA, two brothers, John Sydnor Jr. of Colonial Heights, VA and Jerry Sydnor of Houston, TX, four sisters, Fredonia Miller (Lindsey deceased) of Richmond, VA, Claudette Cherry (Bobbie) of Colonial Heights, VA, Fatima Jones (Minister Calvin, Sr.) of Colonial Heights, VA, and Gale Yates of Chester, VA, four grandsons, Kiyale Sydnor, Joel Sydnor, Di'Juan Sydnor Jr., and Octavia Marcus Toney; five granddaughters, Jordyn Harris, Essence Smith, Alexsandria Sydnor, Chelyse Sydnor and Christie Stephens; mother-in-law, Betty Ruth Robinson; grandmother in-law, Lola Mae Harlin both of Chattanooga, TN; aunts, Ida Shaw of Richmond, VA and Catherine Woolfolk (Bishop Thomas) of North Carolina; one uncle, William Sydnor of Puerto Rico; two brother-in-law's, Terrance Lovelace of Nashville, TN, LeRoy Robinson of Richmond, VA; one sister-in-law, Andrea Jones of Chattanooga, TN; godchildren, Breanna Carter and Kent Slade, Jr.; a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives and friends; a lifetime friend Wilbur Cook of 33 years as well as a lifetime family friend Clyde Gregory, and his devoted pet "Dolly".
