Obituary for Wanda Reynolds Born March 27, 1953 – July 2, 2025 Wanda Reynolds was born on March 27, 1953, in Richmond, Virginia. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bertha Elizabeth and James Washington, as well as her loving aunt, Alma Robinson, and treasured sister, Nancy Whitaker. She was educated at Bowler Elementary, Armstrong High School, and the Richmond Adult Learning Center. Wanda began her career at Philip Morris in 1975, working as a Civil Engineer until her retirement in 2005. She was known for her dedication, strong work ethic, and strength. Wanda was a woman with a generous spirit and deep compassion for others. She helped and supported others selflessly, always willing to give without expecting anything in return. She opened her home to many, offering warmth and support without hesitation or expectation. She was a faithful member of New Covenant Apostolic Church, where she was loved by many and served diligently as an Executive on the Finance Team. Wanda was the loving mother of Latichia Logan and mother-in-law to Maurice Terrell Logan Sr. She was a proud grandmother to Maurice “Ty” Terrell Logan Jr. and Maureisha Terreale Logan, and an adoring great-grandmother to Messiah Kemauri Logan and Master Tyvon Logan. She was one of seven siblings: Floyd Robinson, Joseph Robinson, Betty Robinson, Joyce Ann Henry, and bonus sister Arlene “Meicey” Harris. She shared an especially close bond with her sister, Louise Allen — the two never missed a day of talking. Wanda was surrounded by a close circle of family and friends who deeply loved her. She also had many nieces who each held a special place in her heart: Barbara Brooks, Dorcas “Wee-Wee” Britt, Kimberly “Kim” Edding, Sherri Robinson, Joanna Fordham, Bettie Jo Carmon, Lavada Carmon, Gwendolyn “Gweny” Butler, and Iva Gilchrist. Wanda lovingly embraced her great-niece, Tivani Christian, whom she adopted as her daughter. Wanda also had a host of nephews: Floyd Robinson, Joseph “Buster” Robinson Jr., Bishop Gilbert Robinson, Joseph Carmon Jr., Roosevelt Allen Jr., and Nadir “Tonio” Lumumba. She shared a deep and special bond with her nephew, Lavert “Mane Mane” Morris, who was like a son to her. She was blessed with two cherished godsons, Michael Perkins, Esq. and Seaver Woolfolk, goddaughter Mila Perkins and a special bond with Shaniqua “Shay” Harris. Wanda was also preceded in death by her sweet and devoted dog, Asia. Her life was a beautiful reflection of love and kindness — and her memory will live on in all those who were privileged to know and love her.
