Vaughn E. Williams

VAUGHN EDWIN WILLIAMS was born on January 17, 1955 in Baltimore, Maryland to Alverta Williams and the late Charles E. Williams Sr. Vaughn departed this life on Saturday, September 11, 2021. Vaughn received his education in the Baltimore City Public School System. As a young boy growing up in a household of many siblings, Vaughn was the ultimate prankster and enjoyed pranking his sisters every chance he got. Vaughn was very athletic and enjoyed playing and watching all types of sports. He was full of so much energy, loved to exercise and could walk for miles from East to West! Vaughn was employed as a maintenance technician until his health declined. He enjoyed fixing things and understanding how things worked so that he can put them back together. During his illness, Vaughn portrayed extraordinary strength and never complained, no matter how challenging the journey was before him. Vaughn displayed the characteristics of a true warrior! Vaughn was a strong, caring, outgoing, and super generous person. From a young boy, he was a protector of his family and friends. He was a family-oriented person, who loved family gatherings and would always have his nieces and nephews crying of laughter making fun of his siblings. Vaughn especially loved the holidays and showering his loved ones with extra love and gifts. Vaughn was a light to this world and brought joy to all those that he encountered. He loved listening to music and dancing to the “Oldies but Goodies.” Vaughn could dance for hours without missing a single beat, his signature dance moves are some that will never be forgotten. He was a proud man, and we could not have asked for a better son, brother, uncle, or friend. Vaughn was preceded in death by his father the late Charles Williams Sr., brother Carlos Williams, sister Kim Williams, nephew Charles (Charlie) Williams, niece Okemia (Mommy) Epps, and brother-in-law Gregory Epps. He leaves to cherish his memory: his loving mother, Alverta Williams; siblings, Michelle Williams, Charles Williams Jr. (Carlene Williams), Patsy Epps, Debra Johnson (Larry Johnson), Angela Williams, and Nathelle Williams; four nieces and two nephews, Colita Dunham, Shawn Williams, Debra Jackson, Chanel Duncan, Nichelle Epps and Dana Williams; and a host of great-nieces and -nephews with whom he had a great connection .
