Valerie Lolita Anderson

On February 8, 1958, one of God’s angels, Valerie Lolita Anderson, was born to the late Clinton Lloyd and Vestilia Ransom in Baltimore, Maryland.She was raised in Mount Winans. Valerie attended Baltimore City Public Schools, where she received her high school diploma in 1976 at Southern Senior High School. During that time, Valerie was employed at David Branch Bowling Alley at the age of seventeen years old. There she met her first love, Jonathan Brown in 1975. Two years later, they both joined hands on February 14, 1978 to become as one. Out of this union a baby girl was born, Brandy Bonita Brown.In later years, while working at 7-Eleven convenience store, she met her second lover, Anthony Anderson; and on July 10, 1993 they were united as one.Valerie was employed by Litton System Inc. (October 1984-July 1991), Service America (several years), and Guardian Transportation (as a manager for seven years), just a few of the many jobs she held.Valerie was also known ads “Val” or “Tink” During her earlier years, she enjoyed skating and bowling. As the years went on she loved Bingo, Playing Cards and Slot Machines. Val traveled many miles to Atlantic City and Delaware Park, where she enjoyed spending time with her loved ones. Most of her quality time was spent with her daughter Brandy, her dog Teenie and her cat Kitty, they were also her children.She was preceded in death by her parents, the late Clinton Lloyd and Vestilia Ransom and her loving aunt, Nellie Ransom “Aunt Sissy”She leaves to carry her torch; her husband, Anthony Anderson of Baltimore, MD. her daughter Brandy Bonita Brown of Baltimore, MD., her pets, Teenie “Doggie” Anderson and Kitty “Cat” Anderson, brother Gary Ransom, sister Deborah Georges; four aunts, Mildred Scott, Nellie Austin, Sarah Lloyd and Jean Lloyd, all of Baltimore MD.; uncle, Welton Lloyd of Baltimore, MD.; devoted brother-in-law, “Dynamite” of Baltimore, MD., devoted friend, neighbor, confidante and sister by love, Sherry “Cookie” Hudgins; two very devoted friends whom she loved and respected, Gary Massey and Clifton Hudgins, Sr. two nieces, Sierna Alford and Tionna Ransom, seven nephews, Lamont Georges, Pierre Georges, Gary Ransom Jr., Charles Ransom, Quartez Ransom, Quintez Ransom and Tion Ransom; a host of other relatives and friends.
