Obituary for The Beloved Tyrone Tyler Now I lay me down to sleep, I pray the Lord my soul to keep, And If I die before I awake, I pray the Lord my soul to take…. Such was the state of the Beloved Tyrone Tyler, who is now at eternal rest in his everlasting mansion in the Heavens! On Friday, November 7, 2014, in the early morning, Tyrone made his transition from Earth to Glory!! On March 18, 1954, Tyrone made his grand entrance to Earth. Born from the union of Myrtle Tyler and Leslie Hall. He was the youngest of six siblings. Tyrone was educated in the Baltimore city public school system and graduated from Samuel Gunther Vocational School, where he trained in the field of printing. As a young man “Tee” as he was affectionately called enjoyed the game of basketball. He especially enjoyed playing on “101” and “135” court with family as well as friends. Tee also was a very skilled swimmer. He could be seen at any swimming Pool in Maryland diving from the highest diving board having a cheering entourage in tow. Tyrone also had a ball roller-skating. One of his favorite persons to skate with was his cousin Eunice. They would make a weekend obligation often. Tee had a love for music and dancing. He was one of the best dancers in his neighborhood among his family and friends. He was light on his feet and didn't miss a beat, on any dance floor. Tyrone always took pride in grooming himself and dressing well. He was a people person, Suave’ with the Ladies, Outstanding with the men, and totally hilarious with his family. Tyrone was father to two wonderful sons, Gregory and Ronnell. Ronnell preceded him in death leaving his precious Jewel Alayah to bond with her grandfather. Alayah became the apple of Tyrone’s eye. She often spent the weekends as well as holidays and summer months. He will be truly missed by his granddaughter!! Tee was really close to all his siblings. His only brother “ Les Tyler” would always be protective of him. They were funny together and spent their Sunday’s watching football and telling stories. Tee sisters were very fond of him as well. Him being the youngest sibling resulted in a lot of spoiling. He could always get them to do whatever he wished. Uncle Tyrone was hilarious with his entire family but especially with his nieces and nephews, and that was with or without his favorite juice!! He often had a nickname for them all. His love and laughter spilled over to friends and neighbors as well, forming as well as nurturing good healthy relationships. Wherever he went. Tyrone was a truck driver for the last thirty years plus. Working with varies companies and handling all kinds of goods. Making deliveries in Virginia , DC, and Maryland. The last company Tyrone worked for was called, perishable deliveries. Tyrone was known for his beautiful, light, color changing eyes. Many ladies have commenting and liked those eyes. But after he layed those eyes on Brenda Jones, he knew he found the woman of his life. Brenda and Tyrone were together for 30 years, celebrating their marriage on December 23, 2004. Tyrone and Brenda enjoyed each other. They invited family and friends over for all occasions. They made spending time with Alayah a priority. Brenda family and friends also loved Tyrone and made him a big part of the family. Him and his sister-in-law were very close. Brenda and Tyrone also enjoyed traveling together. They would take a vacation at least twice a year. All who knew him will truly miss him!!! He leaves to cherish his wonderful memories His wife Brenda, his Son Gregory, his Granddaughter Alahya, his four sisters: Mary, Catherine, Bertha (James) and Doretha: His Brother, Leslie Tyler, two aunts, aunt weed and aunt Jane, his sister –in-law, Dorothy, Brother- in-law William, two aunts –in-laws. A host of nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins, other family members and friends. You never said Goodbye You never said I’m leaving You never said goodbye You were gone before I knew it And only God Knew why. A million times I cried If love alone could have saved you, you never would have died In life I loved you dearly In death I love you still In my heart you hold a place, That no one will ever fill It broke my heart to lose you, But you didn't go alone For part of me went with you The day God took you home I will Love you always, Your loving wife Brenda From your lovely Nieces Marvina and Trudy were your first two nieces But we all really loved you to pieces!! Queenie and peanut was next in line And when we were with you everything was fine. Mickey and Lisa were the next two, wanting to always be around you. Dee Dee was the last of all, and together we always had a ball We will cherish all our days, and always think about your unique ways!!
