Trone Headspeth

Trone Durrell Headspeth, son of Sylvia Hill and Antrone Headspeth, was born July 23, 1991 in Baltimore, Maryland. He departed this life suddenly on September 9, 2006.Trone, affectionately known as Twone or Short, was receiving his education in Baltimore City Public Schools, and was currently enrolled in Mergenthaler Vocational Technical High School. Trone had many dreams and had already begun to set several goals for success. One of his first aspirations, due to a late start, was to be placed in his proper grade in high school. Just prior to his departure Trone received notice that his new test scores placed him in his correct year. This first achievement made Trone proud and looking forward to returning to school as a sophomore the following week. Another goal, and surely his greatest desire, was to play football throughout high school, college and then professionally. Though, he was told he needed to put on some weight to play, he gladly and ambitiously set out to do so.Despite the fact that he was only a teenager, Trone was level headed beyond his years. This unique quality made him the “go-to-kid,” which led many to ask either for his help or point-of-view, even before adults or those much older. In addition to these qualities, Trone had a special sense of compassion for his family, which was clearly apparent as he took it upon himself to assist his sister Cierra and others in raising his younger siblings. Those who knew Trone can also attest to his proud new role, which was that of an uncle to nephew Montrell, who held a special place in his heart.Although in this life for a short time, Trone was greatly loved and cherished, a young man blessed with a massive amount of character and an even bigger heart to match it.Trone leaves to mourn: his sister/caregiver, Cierra T. Stokes; mother, Sylvia A. Hill; father, Antrone Headspeth Sr.; brother, Antrone Headspeth Jr.; sisters, Sylvia Hill, Brenda Headspeth and Taneakea Harris; grandparents, Elsie Short, Brenda Jordan and William Fortune; niece, Peachu Harris; nephew, Montrell Massey; and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends
