Trenton Owen Thorne

TRENTON OWEN THORNE (a.k.a. Big Daddy Boo Boo), son of Samuel and Lillie Bell Thorne, was born on June 3, 1969 in Baltimore, Maryland. He departed this life on August 2, 2006 after a short illness. Trenton received his education at Forest Park High School in Baltimore. Throughout his young adult life, he held a variety of jobs, including truck driving which he delivered produce for Baltimore City Public Schools and The White House. He married the lovely Robin Worrell (a.k.a. Brown Sugar) in 2000. His most famous poetic quotes were “Twenty-nine and looking fine, now you’re thirty-nine and all mine!” In 2003, Trent fulfilled a life long dream by obtaining his CDL license. He was so excited about his accomplishment , he rushed to his parents’ home to share his certification, only to find his sister Teresa would be the first one to verify his certification documentation! Trent accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Savior in September 2003. He attended Mount Pleasant Church and Ministries. He became excited about the power of the Holy Spirit and began transitioning his lifestyle for a brighter future. He was full of joy and laughter. He was a comedian and always wore a smile as deep as the sea! When asked; “How are you doing?” Trent would always respond “I’m maintaining, I’m praising and worshipping the Lord!” He was well loved by his family an special friends. He was well-groomed. Inspired by his sisters’ fashions, he would always ask them “How do I look? Don’t I look good?” He never gave his sisters the opportunity to respond first. Daddy and Mama were his idols. Daddy would always tell Trent to do the right thing, while Mama would tell Trent to do well because she wasn’t placed on earth to stay. “You don’t know when I’m going to leave this world,” said Mama. Trent’s reply was “Oh no! You’re not going to leave me!” Trent’s charm sparked many professional and friendly relationships as he traveled to various cities. He had a conversation for the old and young, and the animals too! He will truly be missed by everyone who knew him. He leaves to cherish his memory: his wife, Robin Worrell-Thorne; son, Trenton Owen Thorne, Jr.; two stepsons, Anthony Ray Patterson and Jamal Owen Rowlett; parents, Samuel and Lillie Bell Thorne; two godchildren, Blake and Blair Hall; three sisters, Sheila Thorne, Teresa Hall and Charlotte Thorne; three sisters-in-law, Alethea Iler, Vanessa Thornton and Wanda Worrell; four brothers-in-law, Dwight Iler, Harold Thornton, Tyrone Hall and Barry Worrell; mother-in-law, Lucille Worrell; father-in-law, James Worrell; nieces, nephews, a host of other relatives and special friends.
