Tracy M. Green-Caster

TRACY GREEN-CASTER was born August 25, 1966 in Baltimore, MD. She was the first born of two children to Lawrence and Barbara Green. Tracy accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church under the direction of Reverend Olin P. Moyd. Throughout the years, she has served faithfully on many ministries in the church and was an active member of the Pastor’s Wife Aid (PWA) until her health failed. Tracy graduated from Woodlawn High School in 1984 and furthered her studies at Morgan State University graduating with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration in 1989. She later became employed at the Internal Revenue Service as a Program Analyst. She diligently served the IRS for over 25 years. On September 7, 2002, she married the love of her life, Roy Caster Sr., and out of this union she gained a step-son, Roy Jr. and later gained her other babies, three loving dogs (Chico, Diamond and Hurricane). Tracy was a devoted wife and mother who loved her husband, son, family and friends to no end. She bore her illness with patience and fortitude, and as her health worsened, Tracy’s faith and spirit remained positive and unbroken. Tracy peacefully departed this life on Friday, February 7, 2014. Tracy joins her granddaughter, Royce Caster, father-in-law, Philip Caster and many other loved ones within the circle of eternal life. Left to cherish her memory are: her devoted husband, Roy Sr.; one son, Roy Jr.; father, Lawrence Green; mother, Barbara Green; one sister, Tara Ingram; grandmother, Lillie Brown; mother-in-law, Mary E. Caster; one brother-in-law, Artis Fonville; four sister-in-laws, Patricia (Frankie) Powell, Gwendalyn (Stanton) Caster-Greene, Phyllis (Herman) Purvis, Beverly (Brian) Reddy, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. HOME God looked around His garden and found an empty place, He then looked down upon His earth and saw your loving face. He saw your path was difficult and He closed your weary eyes. He whispered to you, “Peace Be Thine”, and gave you wings to fly. It broke our hearts to lose you, but you did not go alone. For a part of us went with you, on the day God called you home.
