Thomas L. Mack

THOMAS L. MACK son of Jessie Mack and the late Wilson Mack, Sr., was born on January 4, 1958 in Baltimore, Maryland. He departed this life suddenly on May 20, 2010. He also had two siblings that preceded him in death, a sister Mrs. Juanita Davis and a brother Wilson Mack, Jr. Thomas received his education Lake Clifton High School in Baltimore, Maryland. He later pursed his certification in long distance truck driving at Allstate Truck Driving School in Baltimore, Maryland. He had a passion for the open road. He worked for numerous companies, employed and sometimes freelanced as a private contractor, however that was interrupted due to illness. Thomas was a member of 1st John tabernacle Baptist Church, Pastored by the Rev. K.C. Wilkes, where he was baptized. He made many friends and was affection ally and fondly known as “Byrd” or Mack. He was loved by most if not all he came in contact with. A. smile, charm and humor that would draw you in. He'd keep you laughing. Children loved him, for he had lots of nieces and nephews, many extended family children, and Godchildren. If hew was having a bad day you would never know it because of his great metaphors for everything, and if you'd ask him how he was doing, he'd answer in a way that would leaves you laughing. Thomas loved collecting model cars, watching NASCAR, the history channel, and last but not least WESTERNS!!! He loved his old school music in many genres and love to cook. We all will miss his banana pudding... He recently spoke of how he'd pray every night before bed and was so grateful when he'd awake then he'd immediately brake into prayer thanking God again. Not asking but thanking for the grace given him. He spoke little of his pain but always took responsibility for choice in life and was constant in his efforts to heal. He leaves to mourn: his mother, Mrs. Jessie M. Mack; two sisters, Delores Anderson and Gloria Mack; brother, Raymond Mack; niece, Mrs. Terryce Davis Elliott; two aunts, Mrs. Marie Wynn and Mrs. Lena Barnes; five nephew, Pharron Davis, Taun E. Davis, James R. Brooks, Edward g. Anderson and Derrick L. foster; twenty great-nieces and nephews, four great-great-nieces all who loved “Uncle Byrd” II other extended family/relatives and friends.
