Thomas Loney

THOMAS LEE LONEY, son of the late Thomas Roundtree and Geraldine Lee, was born January 15, 1959. He departed his earthly life on February 7, 2025, after a lengthy illness. Thomas attended Baltimore City Public Schools and took on various jobs throughout the years. Thomas (who was affectionately called LT by family and friends) was a ball of energy that was loved by all who met him. He had a huge love for music and at any given time you could catch him cutting a rug and singing along to songs using any object he could as his microphone. LT was the life of any party no matter how late he arrived, the party had to be extended. Best believe he made sure all five plates were packed once he left. When he came to visit you and saw anything that he thought was out of place, he would start cleaning from top to bottom. He would even be the handyman if something needed to be fixed. If it was up to him he could move the entire house by himself. LT also loved to play spades, did not matter the partner because in his words “we’re going to set them”. He loved his family and would do anything he could for them. LT had two loves Melva Newton and Darlene Bell and from the two unions they had Tamika and Tia, and bonus daughter Octavis (Melva). He loved bragging about his daughters and grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents Geraldine Lee and Thomas Roundtree, stepfather Paul Lee Sr., brothers Steven and Shawn Lee, Ronald Roundtree and nephews Floyd Mitchell Jr. and Shawn Lee Jr. Thomas Loney leaves to mourn: his two daughters, Tamika Loney and Tia Wright; son-in-law, Lavell Wright; six grandchildren, Justin, Damon, Daquan, Dion, Demontez and Aniyah; two great-grandchildren, Jace (Justin) and Dallas (Damon); siblings, Karen Loney, Paul Lee Jr., Charvette Roundtree, Renee Lee and Linda Tuggle; nieces, Shantay Loney, Nakia Flythe, Tyra Lee, Kayla Tuggle; nephews, Frankie Valentine III, Travon Rice, Daniel Perry Jr., Aaron Sewell, Craig Lee, Ryan Lee, Kevin Lee, Keith Lee, Jeffrey Cobb; bonus daughter, Octavis Anderson; ex-wife Mary Loise Loney; special friends, John Ward, Lawanda Pop and George McCurdy; and a host of other relatives.
