Theron Edward Anthony Bailey

On Saturday, February 1, 2020, God picked one of His precious servant to receive his glorious crown. Theron Edward Anthony Bailey, affectionately known as "Tony", was born on January 30, 1958 in Queens, New York to Pearl B. Temple. He was educated in New York schools, PS 106, then PS 197 and graduated from Far Rockaway High School in 1976. In 1980, Tony, his mother and siblings moved to Richmond, Virginia to reunite with his aunt, uncle and cousins, Shortly thereafter, he found employment with Evans Plastic Co. Later, he advanced to the US Postal Service where he worked until illness forced him to retire. Before moving to Richmond, Tony loved spending summers with his Uncle Ronnie and Aunt Ernestine in Richmond, as well as, his Uncle Ed and Aunt Tilley in Maryland. He was passionate about playing and watching sports, in doing so, he mastered the game of handball. Often you could find Tony playing board games with one of his favorite cousins, Terry Bailey McMillan or conversing with another favorite cousin, Karman Walker Brown. You could always hear them laughing and bonding as family members often do. Tony became a member of Richmond Christian Center where he accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as his Savior and was baptized. He leaves to cherish fond memories, his mother, Pearl B. Temple; two brothers, Randy Temple (Darlene) of Henrico, VA and Waler "Peedy" Taylor of Kew Gardens, NY; one sister, Andrea Goode (Kenny) of Richmond, VA; one aunt, Ernestine Bailey of Richmond, VA; 3 nieces, Crystal Flippen, Brandy Temple both of Chesterfield, VA and Mariah Hargrove of Richmond, VA; 4 nephews, Trej'on Taylor of Kew Gardens, NY, Andrew and Aaron Goode of Richmond, VA and Mario Hargrove of Hampton, VA; 2 great nephews and 1 great niece; loving cousins among them, Angela, Wanda, Ronald, Jr. and Annette Bailey, Terry McMillan, Rhonda Minor, Karen Bailey, Karmen Brown and Karla Cooper and a host of other family and friends. Tony was a special, gentle, thoughtful and humble young man who was loved by many. He will truly be missed by his mother, Pearl B. Temple will miss him the most. We won't say goodbye Tony, we'll say see you later until we meet again...We Love You!!!
