Theresa Morris

Theresa Loretta Morris, affectionately known as “Reasy”. Was born on March 10, 1955. After a lengthy illness God relieved her of her suffering and called her home on July 2, 2005 to her eternal resting place.Reasy was born, raised and educated in Baltimore, Maryland. She had numerous friends. She was a very passionate and giving person. Whenever she saw someone in need she would always try to help. Whether it was food, clothes or Christmas toys for their children she would try to find a way to assist. She was the kind of person that could always find some good in someone.Reasy was a free-spirit. She loved to sing, dance and make things with her hands. She truly lived by the creed, “one man’s junk is Reasy’s treasure”. She could take scraps and decorate a house or make a beautiful gift basket. Whatever it was she could find some use for it.Reasy was known as the News Reporter of the neighborhood, if you wanted to know something Just Ask Reasy or if you didn’t want anyone to know your business Don’t Tell Reasy. She believed in speaking the truth.Grand mom Reasy is what her grandchildren called her. She loved spending time with the children in the family. Her favorite dish to prepare for them was miniature pancakes. She always raved about how IHOP couldn’t make a smaller or better pancake than her.We could write many pages about our time and memories of Reasy. But the best pages are written in the hearts of each and every person she ever came in contact. She will truly be missed but will never be forgotten as long as we can turn the pages in our heart.Theresa was preceded in death by her father, Preston Little, sister Joyce Horner and grandson Vernon Hamlin Jr. She leaves to cherish her precious memory: her mother, Celeste Morris-Pope and stepfather, Herbert Pope; thee daughters, Nucita Morris, Lafay Lane and Monique Fauntleroy; two sons, Kenyon Morris and Joshua Morris; one daughter-in-law, Sheena Morris; eleven grandchildren; Marquia, N'Kiya, Larniah, Jeremiah, Raquan, Kenyon Jr., Isaiah, Kairra, I’Asiah, Ja´Mya and Jordan; four sisters, Lolita Cooper, Bernadette Weinberg, Lorraine Duppins and Barbara Morris; four brothers, Charles Duppins Jr., Calvin Duppins Sr., Wayne Morris and Larry Morris Sr.; four sisters-in-law, Mary Morris, Ethel Duppins, Crystal Morris and Monique Morris; one brother-in-law, Robert Weinberg Sr.; two aunts, Adah Carroll and Lessie Gannon; one uncle, Clifton Morris Jr. And a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
