Theodore W. Hill

Theodore W. Hill Sr., son of the late Robert and Eugie Hill, was born on August 15, 1935 in Baltimore, Maryland. He departed this life after a lengthy illness on June 14, 2002. He received his education in the Baltimore City Public Schools. He worked on numerous jobs to include Swift Meat Co., The bob, Ted & Jerome Home Improvement Co. He then went to serve in the United States Army for three years where he traveled the country. Allied Chemical Company then employed him, from which he retired after thirty-five years of service. He married Delema Collins on December 23, 1956, and out of this union, two children were born, a daughter Felecia (who he often referred to as Fleecy) and a son Dale. Theodore, known by numerous friends as SkyBow or Ted, seemed to touch everyone he met in a very special way. He was a very special and loving person. He asked Christ what must he do to be saved, confessed his sins and served Him the rest of his life. He started each day with a prayer of praise To our Heavenly Father, before having his morning cup of coffee or tea. He loved bowling and belonged to several different teams. He had just began to enjoy fishing with his buddy George, he had become a traveling man and was about to take a trip to Atlanta next month with his brother Robert, family and friends. Ted was an all around handy man. No task or job was too tough for him for he had great technical, mechanical and electrical skill, If he did a job it had to be done right. He will sincerely be missed by all. Besides his wife, he leaves to cherish his memory: Felecia, Dale, Tia and Patricia; nine grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, two brothers, Robert and Jerome Hill of Baltimore, Md.; four sisters-in-law, Margaret Hill, Ester Jackson of Baltimore, Md., Aneita camper and Elizabeth Young of Cambridge, Md.; there brothers-in-law, Samuel Spencer of Baltimore, Md., Don Juan Collins and Leroy Elliott of Cambridge, Md.; mother-in-law, Marion Collins of Cambridge, Md.; son-in-law, George Carter Jr., of Baltimore, Md.; daughter-in-law, Wanda Hill of Baltimore, Md.; a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and good friends. Both parents preceded him in death, Robert and Eugie Hill; one sister, Eugina Hill; and one son, Theodore Hill Jr.
