Terry Martin Howell jr

Terry Martin Howell, Jr. was born on June 1, 2000, at Sinai Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland, to Terry Howell, Sr. and Bonnie Foxe-Howell. On June 8, 2026, Terry peacefully departed this life, leaving behind a legacy of love, joy, and cherished memories. At the age of three, Terry was diagnosed with Autism. He attended Campfield Early Learning Center through the Kennedy Krieger Institute's Infants and Toddlers Program. Throughout his elementary school years, Terry became affectionately known as "the runner." His teachers quickly learned that if they turned their backs for even a moment, Terry would be headed out the door on his next adventure. As Terry entered middle school, he developed a passion for video games. He loved watching his father play, and whenever his dad took a break, Terry would eagerly grab the controller. Much to his father's surprise, Terry often played the games even better than he did. Terry graduated from New Town High School in 2021 during the COVID-19 pandemic. Despite the challenges of that time, he was thrilled to have the opportunity to walk across the stage and celebrate this important milestone. Terry found joy in life's simple pleasures. He loved dancing, singing, spending time on his tablet, and watching television. One of his greatest joys was attending MDRI Day Program, where Thursdays were his favorite day of the week because it was Music Day. The excitement and happiness he felt every Thursday were contagious to those around him. Terry also enjoyed volunteering with Meals on Wheels, where he assisted in meal preparation twice each week. He treasured family vacations and outings, creating memories that will forever be held close by those who loved him. Terry's gentle spirit, warm smile, and loving soul left a lasting imprint on every life he touched. Though his time with us was far too short, the love he shared and the joy he brought to others will remain forever in our hearts. Terry was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, William Watty, Jr. and Dessie Mae Foxe; his paternal grandfather, Leslie Howell; his aunts, Verna-Jean, Vernette "Cookie," and Diana; and his uncles, Jerry and Karl. He leaves to cherish his precious memory his devoted parents, Terry Howell, Sr. and Bonnie Foxe-Howell; his siblings, Taylor , Kenyarta , and Khalil (Irema); his nieces, Payton and India; his nephews, Kyren, Zahir, and Quanell; his aunts, Cynthia, Tonya, Alisa, Veronica, Shelly, and Marchele; his uncles, Kenneth, Marvin, Michael, Barry, and Kelvin; his grand-uncle, Stellie Foxe, Jr.; his grand-aunt, Bertha Collins; and a host of loving cousins, relatives, friends, caregivers, and all whose lives were blessed by knowing him. The family would like to extend a special and heartfelt thank-you to Cage and Courtney for the love, support, and care they so generously provided to Terry throughout his life. Your kindness, patience, and unwavering presence brought comfort and joy to Terry and meant more to our family than words can express. Your compassion and dedication will never be forgotten, and we will always be grateful for the difference you made in Terry's life. Though Terry's journey on earth has ended, his light, laughter, and love will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. As one of Terry's favorite songs reminds us, "Every little thing is gonna be alright." While we will miss him dearly, we find comfort in knowing that his spirit is free, his smile lives on in our memories, and his love remains forever in our hearts.
