Terrell Keyron Young

TERRELL KEYRON YOUNG, son of Maurice W. Young Jr. and Quentanella R. Brown was born on April 1, 1985. He departed this life suddenly on September 24, 2013. From a very young age, he and his sisters Tashima and Tierra Young were raised by paternal grandmother, Constance Young. They were inseparable, always together. He received his education at Forest Park Senior High School in Baltimore City. After high school he worked at various jobs, developing skills along the way. He worked with Abacus doing custodial work at Anne Arundel County Community College. He loved working there and had hoped to move to a higher position. It was his wish to become a tractor trailer driver. He met Sherron Holmes and from that union they had a son, Ty’Jae Jonathan Young. He loved his son and was very proud to be his father. As a child he regularly attended Sunday School and church. He made many friends along the way. He was an active member of the Boy Scouts of America, where he received many awards and medals, under the leadership of his grandmother, Constance Young who was also the unit’s Cubmaster. He served from first grade through seventh grade. During this time he also served and participated in the “Just Say No to Drugs Program,” in each learning leadership and survival skills. He was always bringing someone home to grandma’s home to eat. He loved everyone and everyone loved him. He loved rap music and played it often and loud. There was one rapper he loved so much, he nicknamed himself after him, “Murda.” Pretty soon it became his signature. He loved and was devoted to his family. He will be dearly missed by all who had the opportunity to know him. He leaves to mourn: his only child and son, Ty’Jae Jonathan Young; his paternal grandmother, Constance Young; his father, Maurice W. Young Jr.; his mother, Quentanella R. Brown; his maternal grandfather, Willis Brown; maternal grandmother, Jean Stuckey; and stepmother, Rose Brown; sisters, Tashima Young, Tierra Young, Nicole Mitchell, Teaira Shuler, India Shuler and Chelsea Omisore; brothers, Eugene Gaines, Kenneth Taylor, Antonio Brown, Maurice Brown, Isaiah Ward, Damon Brown and Stephen Mitchell; devoted uncles, Jerome Young, David Brown, Kevin Brown and Antonio Brown; aunts, Wanetta Morris and Samantha Young; a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends including devoted friend, Alethia Mitchell.
