Tarsha Michelle Neville

Tarsha Michelle Neville, was born November 21, 1977 to Sheila Neville and Michael Woodson in Richmond, Virginia. Tarsha departed this life Sunday, August 16, 2020. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, William and Lucy Randall, Harvey Lee and Rosa Woodson. Tarsha received her formal education in the Henrico Public School System and attended Henrico High School. She accepted Christ as her Savior at the age of 35 and was united with Redeem Church of God In Christ where she was a devoted member. She was employed by SunTrust Mortgage for many years. In her leisure, she enjoyed traveling and hosting parties and entertaining. Tarsha had an immense love for her family. The love of family she inherited from her Granny Lucy was always present. She enjoyed getting the family together for holiday parties filled with food, love and laughter. She loved to cook lavish spreads of abundance for family and friends. She loved her daughter, Niyah, unconditionally. Niyah was her top priority. Teaching her many life lessons, all with endless love and compasison. She loved her niece and nephews like her own. Insisting they call her ‘Cutie’ rather than ‘auntie’ or ‘Tarsha’. They were more than happy to oblige. As the eldest of three girls, she fostered a bond that has never been broken. Bent a little, but never broken. Teaching Chasta and Ebony the ins and outs of life. Showing them to have emphathy for others. Most importantly, how to stick together. Lessons they will carry with them forever. Her close bond with her mother was admired by many. Tarsha was the first love of her life. She often speaks of how special Tarsha was. At two years old, Tarsha climbed up on her mothers bed, put her head in her hands and simply said, “Let’s talk!” Sheila smiled and knew this was the beginning of a beautiful relationship. Tarsha’s bond with her dad was unbreakable. He had always been there for Tarsha. Michael provided Tarsha a life he never had while showing the love he learned from his parents. He made sure she never wanted for anything. She was a true daddy’s girl. Many people called Tarsha their ‘best friend’. She was a devoted friend to many. Always showing love and kindness to all. She enjoyed making others laugh and feel good about themselves. She has touched so many lives and is loved by all who knew her. Tarsha will forever be in our hearts. Tarsha loved all her aunts and uncles. She had a special bond with uncle Clarence and uncle Cliff. Speaking to them often and providing assistance any time it was needed. They both were there for her until the very last days. “Cutie” there ain’t never been a girl like you! She leaves cherished memories to her daughter, Niyah C. Small; parents, Shelia D. Neville and Michael Woodson; sisters, Chasta Hembricks (Jonta) and Ebony Neville; grandparents, Harvey Lee, Rosa Woodson, Lucy and John Randall; aunts, Eunice Neville (Joe), Stacey Neville and Dianna Neville; devoted uncle, Cliff Neville; aunts, Janice Jones, Rosa Woodson, Darlene Porter (James), Cherly Woodson; uncles, Harvey Woodson (Dorthula), and a devoted uncle, Clarence Seegars; nieces and nephews, Kayla, Jaden, Jonte and Cam; devoted friend, Kim Brooks; a host of other relatives and friends, far too many to name.
