Sinclair Eaddy Sr.

“A Time to be Born” SINCLAIR EADDY SR. beloved son of the late Leroy and Creola Eaddy, was born on May 9, 1943 in Lake City, South Carolina. On Thursday morning, January 10, 2013, Sinclair, heard his Savior say, “Welcome thou good and faithful servant. You have fought the good fight and have finished your course; you may enter into your rest.” “A Time to be Saved” – John 30:3 At a very early age, Sinclair accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Savior; he was baptized at Bethlehem AME Church in Johnsonville, South Carolina. “A Time to be Trained” – Proverbs 22:6 Sinclair received his education in Lake City and Hemingway school system. “A Time to Labor” – Genesis 3:19; Matthew 20:20-28 After graduation, Sinclair entered the United States Navy which he dearly loved and began his career. During his tour he received the National Defense Medal, Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal, as well as the Vietnam Service Medal. After leaving the Navy, Sinclair relocated to Baltimore, Maryland starting a new career at Baltimore Gas and Electric where he spent thirty years in Fossil Power Operations. “A Time to Love” – Ecclesiastes 3:9 On December 26, 1971, Sinclair Eaddy and Gloria A. Mack entered into holy matrimony. God allowed them to spend forty-two years of wedded bliss. To this union one son, Sinclair Jr. and one daughter, Donna were born. “A Time to Laugh: A Time to Dance” – Ecclesiastes 3:4 Sinclair was loving, kind, caring and a considerate family oriented person, who touched the lives of everyone he met. He enjoyed fishing and teaching family and friends to fish, and watching his wife shop. Sinclair loved being a grandfather; spending time with his grandson Tyree made his life complete. “A Time to Mourn” – Psalm 30:11 He leaves to mourn their loss and cherish his memory: a devoted and steadfast wife, Gloria Eaddy; a devoted son, Sinclair Eaddy Jr.; a loving daughter, Donna B. Holmes; a special grandson, Tyree B. Price; two brothers, Roylee and Bobby (Gail) Eaddy; sister, Earline Eaddy; father-in-law, Donald Mack; four sisters-in-law, two brothers-in-law, a special uncle, Lushes; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
