Sebrina Diane Anderson-Ader

Life’s Legacy Sebrina Diane Anderson-Ader, “Diane” or “Bri” as she was affectionally called by her family and friends was born to Shirley H. Christian and the late James Melvin Anderson on October 24, 1958, in Richmond, Virginia. Sebrina passed away peacefully at The Harmony Collection at Hanover Touch of Grace Hospice with her family by her side on Friday, April 11, 2025. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold A. Ader Ill and her father, James Melvin Anderson. Sebrina was educated in the Richmond City Public School system and continued her education through J. Sargeant Reynolds Community College. She obtained her Cosmetology license. Sebrina retired from the City of Richmond where she worked 18 years. She loved to travel, spend time with family and attend concerts. She loved to live life. She embodied the spirit of service and compassion, touching the lives of many with her kindness and generosity. Her unwavering faith sustained her through life’s trials, guiding her with grace and humility. She was not just any woman; she was a symphony of humor, and resilience. Her presence was a beacon of joy, and her absence leaves a void that can never be filled. Sebrina was blessed to share her life with her two children, LaMicha and LaVelle. She was the beating heart of family, showering us with unconditional love, wisdom, and unwavering support. Sebrina’s love extended far beyond her immediate family, encompassing a wide circle of nieces, nephews, and friends. She touched the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her, leaving an indelible mark on every heart she encountered. While our hearts ache with grief, we take solace in knowing that her spirit lives on in the memories she created and the love she shared. Though she may have bid farewell to this earthly realm, her legacy of love, laughter, and resilience will continue to inspire us for generations to come. She leaves to mourn one daughter, LaMicha D. Anderson and one son, LaVelle Ader; one brother, Michael Anderson (Shelly); two sisters, Arethea Anderson and Tracey Pritchette (Larry); two nephews, Kofi and Lester; one niece, Unique Richardson; her devoted friends, Gail Johnson, Sheila Bishop and Lauretta Crawley, and a multitude of other relatives and friends. Rest in peace, dear Sebrina. Your light will shine in our hearts forever.
