Sean King

Sean King, beloved and elder son of Jacqueline Garrett and Sylvester King (both departed), arrived on earth to start his pilgrimage on Monday, April 26, 1971 and was called home to glory on Wednesday, November 17, 2010. Sean accepted Christ as his Savior at an early age and was a gifted vocalist and served as a drummer at New Antioch and several churches throughout Baltimore. He attended both Baltimore County and City Pubic School and graduated with the class of 1990 from Northern High School. Hie continued education at Baltimore City Community College prepared him for his career paths. Sean was a diligent worker and was employed at an early age as a life Guard for Baltimore City Recreation and Parks and was promoted, over the many years he served, to the Position of Pool Operator. He was always working and held security positions on the movie set of “The Wire”, “ Ladder 49” and with the Baltimore City Zoo. It is not a surprise his career accelerated to the Baltimore City Fire Department, where he served at Engine 4 and later transferred to Medic 18. He was a certified Diver, the first and only FPA to serve on the Baltimore City Fire Department Dive Team. Sean did so much for so many and was a one of the Hero rescue divers for the Baltimore Harbor” Water Taxi Accident of 2004” shown on “The Weather Channel”. The list of positions held and people helped is exceeded only by his love for his family. He loved learning and enjoyed teaching swimming, coaching football, singing, playing drums, horseback riding and serving as bodyguard for celebrities and venues and D Jing. Sean met Deshawna and they ware married on December 16, 1991. He was the proud and dedicated father of five children. Sean always went the extra mile for his family. We celebrate his life and hold onto the memories: Deshawna, loving and dedicated wife, Children: Marvin, Beyonka, Sean,Jr., Kayla and Keyona; sister: Tia and Tyra; brother Darus. His aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends are too numerous to list, but join us in Sean Life Celebration with a lifetime of memmories.
