Rosetta Jeter Moore

Rosetta Moore,affectionately known as"Mooie",departed this life peacefully on Thursday,April 18,203. she was the eighth child of the late Rebecca and Thomas Jetter,born June 14,1931. Rosetta loved her family and her church with all her heart. In fact,Rosetta has two churches that claimed her. She faithfully served on the Ladies Auxuliary,the original Pastor's Aide Committee,and was a dedicated member of the Pistos Sheepfold in her own church home. Moreover,she relished her years of worship with the Mt. Vernon church family,attending many events there as well. No matter the occasion,Rosetta always greeted everyone she encountered with a hearty smile and an uplifting,encouraging word. Rosetta possessed a deep compassion for children and would give of her time and contributions to ensure they were satisfied and content in her eyes. She also loved commining with nature and was a avid animal enthusiast. She could be caught on any given day engaging in her favorite activity,watching animals,whether in the yard,performing in circus acts,or at the communuty fairs. Surely,Mooie could be heard every year talking about infamous"pig races"at the community fairs. Rosetta had many passions. Working at Nabisco for over 32 years,she was committed to her job,always considering her time spent there to be a delight and leaving behind an impeccable legacy! In addition,she absolutely loved gardening,fishing,going on cruises,hanginh out with her friends and traveling. Most notably,Mooie was also known for being a loving,doting wife,mother and grandmother. Her greatest joy was her time spent with her children,especially the shopping excursions with her son Rickey. Indeed,Rosetta was a woman on the move who fully enjoyed every minute of her life. She was preceded in death by her adoring husband,Richard Moore,Jr. She leaves to cherish her memory;two loving and devoted children,Cynthia Gill(Woodrow) and Richard Moore,III;two loving grandsons,Randy Evans,Jr. and Eric Evans;three caring sisters,Annie Lewis,Gracie White(Dr. Andrew White) and Louise Lee;devoted nieces,Brenda Crawley and Angela Winston;her goddaughter,Karra Graves, and a host of other nieces,nephews,relatives and friends,including Dr. Andrea Pennington(Rosetta's wonderful medical advocate)/little Miss Siena(Andrea's daughter). Rosetta Moore,our flower and our pearl,we will miss you!
