Rosemary Goins

Rosemary Goins, born to the late Juan and Martha, and lovingly raised by her stepfather, Tim, was born on June 24, 1962 in Baltimore, MD. She departed this life suddenly on Wednesday, August 20, 2025. She was educated in Baltimore City Public Schools and graduated from Community Christian Academy. Born and raised in a Christian family, Vicky always had a huge heart to spread love to people. She accepted Jesus Christ in her life and was sure to spread HIS goodness to everyone through her smile and encouraging words. Her favorite line of encouragement was "just have faith, GOD got it." She started her day with a text to her family with her favorite scripture, Philippians 4:13 ("I can do all things through Christ who strengthen me".) Vicky was a long time member of Community Church of Christ, where she raised her children and attended every Sunday with her grandson, KJ. Vicky was employed with the State of Maryland for many years. She was employed with Baltimore County Schools Bus Company from 2015 until her death. Vicky had a great relationship with her co-workers, especially Norresha who she affectionately called her "work daughter." She met many friends who will forever cherish her memory. She enjoyed cracking jokes, coloring, drawing (Smurfs were her speciality), playing spades, ushering, spreading love to two children (Ethic and Anija), and hanging out with "the girls" (her in-laws). Vicky met the late Harry, in Baltimore, in the late seventies and married in 1987. Through this union they welcomed two children, Shanna and Chantelle. They also welcomed their, niece, Shamira, into their lives and raised her as their own. After her first marriage ended, she found love again with the late Thomas in 1996. She leaves to cherish her memory; three daughters, Shanna, Chantelle and Shamira; two granddaughters, Ny'Keira and C'Mira; four grandsons, Keith, Cornelius, Markel and Marleek; four sisters, Valerie, Veanana, Wendy and Zoraida; two brothers, Jay-Jay and Kevin; two goddaughters, Angel and Anesha; nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Preceding Vicky in death are her brothers, James, Jesse and Juan.
