But the meek will inherit the earth and enjoy great peace.- Psalm 37:11 ROSALIND REBA BUTLER, daughter of the late Aubrey A. Spencer and present Myrna C. Jones, was born March 5, 1952, in Baltimore, Maryland. She departed this life on December 5, 2007, after a lengthy illness. She received her education at Frederick Douglass High School in Baltimore, Maryland. Upon completion of her education, she became a stay-at-home mom until her children were of age. She then pursed her career in the public relations field at Blind industries, her favorite job of all, working as a Bar Maid. Here is where she found the love her life, the late Gregory Butler, better known as “Ju Ju” or as the kids knew him, “Pop Pop.” She met Gregory Butler in 1977, and they were married on August 16, 1986. From this union they shared four children, Montrae, Troy, Gregory Jr., and Monica. As a grandmother she enjoyed making her grand-kids happy. She loved to be in their company singing, dancing, and going on outings with them, but her favorite time of all was sitting in the house laughing and cracking jokes. Rosalind made friends easily and was liked by many. Though she was the sweetest lady you could find, she said what was on her mind, didn’t hold her tongue and didn’t care who was listening. Rosalind loved to have fun. She enjoyed riding with and taking part in the Motorcycle affairs including, the Roadrunners, and the Free Spirit Gypsy Motorcycle Club. Her favorite thing to eat was Cheese Danish and Neapolitan Ice Cream. She loved to cook, and the grand-kid’s favorite was her famous chocolate cake. She leaves to mourn: her mother, Myrna Jones; two daughters, Montrae and Monica; two sons, Troy and Gregory Jr.; sister, Tonda; two brother-in-laws, Grafton and Alvin; three sister-in-laws, Phyllis, Shanetta and Carolyn; son –in-law Lamont; daughter-in-law, Tonya; two granddaughters; Deondra and Traeonna; two grandsons; Terran and Donald Jr.; special aunt, Thomasine Pratt great-aunt Vernell Johnson; two nieces; Sharae and Alex; great-nephew, Tristen; cousin; Kenneth Pratt, a host of other relatives and friends.
