Ronnie Earl Harvey

Obituary “ Whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” John 3:16 On December 25, 1964, Ronnie Earl Harvey was born to Louise Graham Harvey and Robert Linwood Harvey, Sr. in Richmond, Virginia. He was one of three siblings. Ronnie grew up in a loving and nurturing home. He accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior at a young age and was baptized at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church. Later in life he attended Increase International Ministries and gained strength in his Christian walk. He put his gift of song and theater in action as a member of the Praise Team. Ronnie practiced the love of the Lord through his many kind deeds and acts of love that were extended to everyone he met. Ronnie received his education from the Richmond Public School System and graduated from Henrico High School in 1983. He was an outstanding employee for many years with Richmond Bumper Services and Sandless in their Residential Refinishing group until he became disabled. Ronnie had a humble, sweet and caring spirit. He had a heart of gold and a smile that would warm any room. He was well liked by everyone. Ronnie was quiet but he had a passion for singing and acting. He was very stylist and always made sure that he was dapper when he stepped out. Ronnie will be remembered as a person that never took anything or anyone for granted and had a huge assortment of Dallas Cowboys gear. He lived his life to the fullest and his greatest love was serving the Lord. In his leisure, he enjoyed playing basketball and watching the Dallas Cowboys, his favorite NFL team. He was a die-hard blue and white fan. Ronnie peacefully transitioned to his Heavenly home on September 15, 2024, at Bon Secours Hospice House. He was preceded in death by his father Robert Linwood Harvey, Sr. and his brother Robert Linwood Harvey, Jr. Ronnie leaves to cherish his loving memories: caring mother, Louise Graham Thomas; step-father, Victor L. Thomas; one brother, Ricardo Harvey; four nieces, London Harvey, Asia Harvey, Aliyah Harvey Stephncy (Tradarious), and Tasha Faulk; one nephew, Travell R. Mashore; close friend Reneé Thompson Truehart; and a host of other relatives and dear friends. Ronnie was a good man who was humble, quiet and brought peace into the atmosphere.
