Ronald A. Tinson

RONAL D ANTHONY TINSON JR., son of Rosie C. Prince and the late Ronald Anthony Tinson Sr., was born September 9, 1955, in Baltimore,Maryland. He departed this life June 18, 2016, after a brief illness. At an early age, Ronald received Confirmation and First Holy Communionat St. Katherine Catholic Church. He received his education from the Baltimore City Public School System, and graduated from Northern Senior High School, Class of 1974. During his high school career, he excelled at track & field and football. He received numerous awards, letters of commendation and ultimately received the honor of Unsung Hero for his outstanding football skills. He worked numerous jobs while attending high school to include Neighborhood Youth Corps and Community Aid at Dunbar Senior High School. February 28, 1975, Ronald enlisted in the United States Marine Corps, where he served his country for six years and received an Honorable Discharge. Ronald received the distinguished Rifle Marksman Badge, Mentorious Mast 1st and 2nd award, and the Good Conduct Medal. After proudly serving his country, he obtained employment with the Bureau of Solid Waste & Sanitation Department for the City of Baltimore. During his tenure with the City of Baltimore, he received numerous awards and commendations. He retired after 31 years of dedicated service on October 3, 2011. Ronald to his family and friends was a gentle, private, respectful, and proud servant with a humble soul. He was a lover and collector of fine literature. He will be truly missed by all. Ronald Anthony Tinson Jr. leaves to mourn: his mother, Rosie C. Prince; sister, Rhonda T. Tinson; brother, Hubert Dickerson Jr.; aunts, Evonne Greene, Arletta Garnett, Phyllis Wigfall; uncles, Nathan Irby II, Lawrence Tinson Jr. (Roxie); and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends. When God Saw YoU Getting Tired When God saw you getting tired and a cure was not to be, He put His arms around you and whispered "Come To Me." He didn't like what you went through, and He gave you rest, His garden must be beautiful, He only takes the best. And when He saw you sleeping , so peaceful and free from pain, We wouldn't wish you back, to suffer that again.
