Ronald Roshell Smith

Ronald Roshell Smith, the fourth of six children of the late Edward S. and Cleo D. Smith, was born on June 8, 1948 in Baltimore, Maryland. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Doris Smith and Barbara Smith. Ronald received his education in the Public Schools of Baltimore City, a 1966 graduate of Frederick Douglas High School. At Douglas, he was an avid member of Swin Team. He was a very strong and hard worker, and an independent thinker who always did things “his way” When he saw an opportunity, h made the most of it. His last job was as a mover with the Von Paris Moving and Storage Company. Ronald made his mark in this world by the basic goodness and generosity of his character, the quality of his relationships with his family and friends, and the way he brought out these qualities in others. He was quiet, easy-going warm friendly. He loved unconditionally, never judgmental, with a kind and generous heart. He loved his family and would do anything he could to help them. He made numerous friends wherever he went, and he will be sincerely missed by everyone who knew him. Earlier this year. Ronald surrendered his life to the Lord Jesus Christ. On May 19, 2017. he peacefully departed this life. Unconditional love, kindness, and service to family and others are examples he left us of how life should lived. “How do you judge a man? The celebration of Ronald's life will forever be cherished by two sisters, Edwinda S. Lynch and Paulettee C. Smith; two brothers, Phenious M. Smith (Delores) and Renold B.
