Ronald Donte' Clark

RONALD DANTE CLERK, JR., was born on March 31, 1992 at Mercy Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland to Ronald Dante Clerk, Sr. and Michelle Gasque. On Tuesday, October 26, 2010 the Golden Gates of Heaven unexpectedly opened for Dante. Dante also known as “Buckie” to his friends and some family members received his education in the Baltimore City School System. Dante’ was an A student and received numerous awards of achievement. Dante completed his education at Forest Park Senior High School in June of 2010. Dante accepted his Lord and Savior at an early age in life. He occasionally attended Cornerstone Church in Baltimore, Maryland. Dante had a passion for sports. He loved to play basketball and football. Dante and other members of the family would have a conference call from home, getting excited as they discussed the plays of the games while watching TV. Dante’s father, Ronald and his uncle Joe primarily introduced him to the game of basketball and football. Dante grew to love the games and knew them well. In 2000, Dante played for the “Sand Town-Winchester Pop Warner Football League”. He also was a SUPERSTAR player when he played for the neighborhood football team ‘The Liberty Lions Football League” in 2006. His pride and joy was the times he spent with his family. Dante had a unique way when it came to family. He was respectable, caring and considerate of all. Dante LOVED his family and in return his family LOVED him. His grandmother “MaMa” is the one person he had a unique relationship with and LOVED her unconditionally. If you knew Dante and MaMa you would know exactly what I’m talking about. Buckie was a laid back type of guy… Some might even say he was a little lazy. But regardless of his demeanor he seemed to always make friends wherever he went. Sometimes the family would say to Dante, “you are too friendly” and he would just smile and say “your right”. He did not like a lot of confusion or confrontation; Buckie was just that type of guy. There were a number of people Dante considered his friends; Devin, Black, Andre, Tee, Keenan, Tickles, Chuckie, Victor, Mecca and particularly one special friend, LaBria. His best friend, Cey-Cey preceded him in death. Dante we want you to know, you will live in the hearts of all who LOVED you, and you know who we are! WE CHERISH YOUR MEMORY: father, Ronald D. Clark, Jr. and Daniel Clark; aunts Kimberly Thompson- Clark, Monica Morrows, Denise Yolanda and Sulyn Gasque; great-uncles, Ronald Clark, Joseph “Chop” Floyd, Kevin Richardson, Oliver McCaffity, Alonzo Holiday and George Duppins; great-aunts, Audrey Johnson, Arlene and Patricia Clark, Sharon Kearson, Ada and Francine McCaffity, Ethel and Karen Kingwood, Shirley Holliday, Gwendolyn Hayward and Elizabeth Duppins; great-great-uncle, John “Ray” Anthony; great-great-aunts, Gloria Anthony, Ethel Mae Turner and Mable Stokes-Larkins. Dante is also survived by a host of other relatives, family members and friends.
