Robert Silver

ROBERT SILVER JR. lived a life full of love, laughter, good times, and great memories. He was loved by all who knew him. Robert entered eternal rest on April 2, 2026. His life was one of warmth, grace, joy, and unwavering devotion to those he loved. To know Robert was to love him. Robert’s story began on June 24, 1986, in Baltimore, Maryland, where he was welcomed into the world as the firstborn son to his mother, Sherwanda Brooks, and father, Robert Silver Sr. Robert was quiet, with an observant spirit, a gentle soul, and a loyal heart. He was a jack of all trades, often referred to as “Mr. Fix It.” He received his formative education through the Baltimore City Public School System and proudly graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Baltimore in 2023. Every Thursday, Robert was committed to Game Night with close friends. He loved playing board games and was especially competitive when it came to Spades. When people met Robert, both as a child and as an adult, they instantly loved him. He never met a stranger. His fun-loving personality was contagious. He loved R&B music, reading books, and watching documentaries. He was a true historian. Robert was hardworking, dependable, and led by example. He was a mentor to many and always wanted to make life better for someone else. He had an infectious smile and a welcoming heart that brightened every room. Known affectionately as Rob and Lil Rob, he carried a joyful spirit and a magnetic personality. Robert leaves to cherish his precious memory: his mother, Sherwanda Brooks; father, Robert Silver Sr.; stepfather, Joseph Drummond; sisters, Destini Brooks, Tenneal Silver, Yasmine Silver, and Taneara Silver; one and only brother, Wesley Brooks; uncles, George Brooks (Latanya), George “Tito” Brooks (Joy), and Shideen Atkinson; aunt, Barbara Ann Silver; along with a host of extended family and special friends. Robert’s light will never fade. He will forever live in the hearts of those who had the honor to know him. His legacy will live on forever. Rob, you were my first love, my first hope, my first heartbeat outside of me.
