Robbin Moore

Robbin Moore, the son of the late John W. Dixon and Mabel M. Dixon, was born on December 6, 1954 in Baltimore, Maryland. Robbin departed this life on Tuesday, June 7, 2016 after a lengthy illness. Robbin graduated from Paul Lawrence Dunbar High School in Baltimore. Upon graduating from high school he went on to become a Master Plummer where he was immediately picked up by Baltimore City where he worked along side his father who also was a Master Plummer for the city of Baltimore. While employed as a city worker Robbin went on to attend Morgan State University where he majored in Political Science and Business Administration. Robbin decided to pursue another career outside of plumbing and went to work for the state of Maryland Corrections as a Correctional Officer where he was promoted. While working as a correctional officer he decided to go to Realtor School to become a real estate agent. Robbin eventually started his own business in plumbing where he was successful. During his course of business, he often hired those who were struggling to get back on their feet. If there was a problem for any of his employees getting back and forth to work Robbin would pick them up and take them home as well as feed them. Robbin was a very generous man to his family, friends and strangers. Robbin made numerous friends wherever he went and he will be sincerely missed by us all and everyone who knew him. Robbin had two younger sisters that preceded him in this life, the late Marguerite Dixon (who was one of his twin sisters) and his (youngest sister) Betty Dixon-Knox. Robbin leaves to mourn him: a host of sisters and brothers, Cladus Slappy, Carlester Moore, Audrey Smith, Larry Moore, Claire Diane Epps, Manrise Moore, Joanne Dixon, Margie Dixon and Winston Dixon; one uncle, Milton Dixon; an extremely very special and most important friend, Sharon McGraw affectionate known as “Shawron” by Robbin. Robbin loved all his sisters, brothers, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews and his cousins. Robbin was loved and respected by his three adopted step-sons and their families, Erick, Steven, and Shawn McGraw. Robbin’s Godchildren were very important to him who he often talked about. Robbin loved and respected children and he made an impact on their lives and in return they loved, respected, and most often communicated with him.
