Renee M. Addison

Renee Michelle Addison eldest of child Pastor Theodore D. Addison, Sr and First Lady Betty Addison was born January 4,1958. Renee departed this life and went to be with Lord on Sunday April 15, 2012 Renee, also known affectionately as “Nay”or “Nazy,” was educated in the Baltimore City Public School System. She graduated from Northwestern High School in1976. Renee was a member of the National Honor Society throughout her entire high school career. She attended Towson University and Coppin State University. then later graduated from Maryland Institute of Banking and Finance in1978. Renee worked in the banking industry for 20 years. She worked for United States Postal Services for 10 years. Renee accepted Christ and became a member of Rising Zion Baptist Church July 14, 1993 under the pastorate of Rev. Theodore D. Addison, Sr She was baptized December 28, 1994. While at Rising Zion, Renee served faithfully in the Trustee Ministry and Missionary Ministry. Renee changed he membership to Christ way Christian Baptist Church in 2010 under the pastorate of Rev. Quinton Herbert, Sr., where she served as Church Clerk until her illness. Renee loved to shop and travel. She was an avid reader, which helped her to be very knowledgeable about a host of subjects. Renee had a compassionate and genuine love for people. She always helped anyone in need. Renee had a fondness for children and “Senior Citizens.” she loved her family and friends and would do anything for them, never counting the cost. Renee leaves to cherish and mourn her memory her father, Pastor Theodore D. Addison, Sr.,mother, Betty Jane Addison, her brother, Theodore D. Addison, Jr., her sister Shawn D. Addison and her “one and only nephew,” Tyrell D.Addison, Jr., She also leaves her great aunt, Shirley Eaddy, her great uncle, Joseph (Bubbles) Eaddy,her aunts, Brenda Baylor, Florita Robinson (Benny), Darlene Holley (James), Dorothy Madison, Sandra Stancil, Carolyn Chase (Lewis), Cynthia C. Fowlkes, Tamara Barnes, Dorothy Addison, Thelma Addison, her uncles, Henry Addison and Ronald Addison (Marie), close friend Cynthia DeLeaver Coates and host of first cousins and other relatives and friends.
