Reflections of Life "To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: Ecclesiates 3:1 Raleigh E. Foster, Jr. was born June 23, 1942 in Gary, West Virginia, to the late Raleigh, Sr. and Georgia Foster. He entered into eternal life on May 20, 2017. Raleigh loved the Lord and was introduced to Christ at an early age by his mother. Raleigh later relocated to Long Island, New York to expand his horizons. He founded a family business with his brothers. Raleigh was a family man and cherished all of his children. In 1988, he met Rita D. Palin and they joined together in holy matrimony on August 5, 1089. He had a magnetic personality that would light up a room. He had a passion for helping others and impacted the lives of many that he encountered. His ability to take-charge was one of the qualities that made him the patriarch of the family. His love for service continued when Raleigh and Rita Foster joined Trinity Baptist Church. While serving as a member of Trinity Baptist Church, he devoted his time to the PRO's (People Responding to Others) Ministry and Usher's Ministry, and the founder of the Greeter's Ministry. Raleigh firmly believe, that we have the ability to reach out and touch somebody's hand to make this world a better place, in Christ we can! Raleigh was preceded in death by two of his sons, Reggie and James; daughter, Linda; brother, James; and sister, Cecilia. Raleigh E. Foster, Jr. leaves to cherish his memory, four sons, Gunny, Raymond, Travis (Angela), and Raleigh, III (Jill); seven daughters, Valerie (Justice), Stephanie, Georgia (JR), Rita, Paula (Kenneth), Kia, and Melissa (Ronald); 34 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; three brothers, Franklin, John (Glenda), and Stephen (Maurleen); two sisters, Anne and Victoria (Cliff); a host of nieces, nephews, uncle, two aunts, cousins and friends.
