Quinton Lee Croomer

A Time To GrowQUINTON LEE CROOMER, son of Mary J. Vaughan, was born on December 16, 1958 at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. Quinton was very energetic in his youth and was an excellent football and baseball player. He was known for his fast reflections in running and catching a football and baseball. He never grew tired of having fun and playing even though he was born asthmatic which hampered his physical abilities.A Time To LearnQuinton enjoyed school and received the majority of his education in the Baltimore City Public School System completing the tenth grade at Baltimore City College. Later he had the desire to obtain a GED to help him seek better employment opportunities.A Time To WorkQuinton started and had a few jobs in the janitorial field, but was mainly employed with the Pest Control Division for Baltimore City. He was very conscientious about his position relating to pest control and if you had pests in or around your home he was the person to call. In his later years he enjoyed performing odds jobs for his attorney and good friend Warren Brown. He also would do the same for his family and the neighbors in the community always performing any job to the best of his abilities.A Time To Reflect Quinton often known to his family and close friends as "Q" or "Croomer " was a devoted son to his mother " Mary" with a firm bond that tested a relationship between mother and son. He did not have the opportunity to pursue marriage; however he enjoyed fatherhood when God blessed him with his daughter Quiana Croomer. He blessed him with a firm acclamation the "Quiana, my daughter is my heart." He also was a very proud grandfather to his three grandchildren Tyshaun, MyKalah and new arrival Michael. He loved playing with them and entertaining them whenever they visited. "Q" was good with his mind and hands and had the talent of helping people in order to get things accomplished. He did not have a problem with ever making friends and had a good sense of humor. His hobbies included watching movies and sports on ESPN, especially his favorite football team the Dallas Cowboys and basketball team the Los Angeles Lakers.A Time To Rejoice In His MemoryQuinton leaves behind: his mother (Mary); siblings, Carl, Karen, Vonita and William; daughter, Quiana, brothers-in-law, Kevin and Jay; grandchildren, Tyshaun, MyKalah and Michael. "Q" also leaves other relatives: two uncles, Frank and Charles; three aunts, Sedonia, Dorothy and Francis; nephews, Carl Jr., Roland, Jermel, Kevin Jr. and Craig; nieces, Erica, Stacy, Whitney and Vivian; a host of cousins, close friends and doctors at Maryland General and University Hospitals.
