Phillip L. Robinson

Phillip Lewis Robinson peacefully departed this life after a lengthy illness on June 23, 2026. He was born on December 17, 1964, to the late Eli Lawrence Robinson, Sr. and the late Sammie Mae Robinson. He was preceded in death by his beloved brother, Eli Lawrence Robinson, Jr.; his nephew, Samuel Isaac King: and his aunt, Annie Ruth Sherrod. Phillip received his education through the Baltimore City Public School System and graduated from Patterson High School. Following graduation, he proudly served his country in the United States Army Reserves for six years. After his military service, he pursued a career in the security profession, where he worked faithfully until his retirement. Phillip remained committed to serving others long after his military service. He was a proud member of the American Legion Northeastern Post 285, where he was dedicated to supporting Armed Forces veterans and their families. Through his involvement, he also worked to strengthen and serve the greater Baltimore community by participating in programs that benefited veterans and residents alike. A man of deep faith, Phillip accepted Christ at an early age. He was baptized as a child and loved the Lord throughout his life. He attended Restoration Through Christ Ministries, where his faith continued to guide and strengthen him. Phillip is survived by his wife, Malieka Robinson; his children, Phillip Lewis Robinson, Jr. (Michele), Jessica McNeil (Momodou Jallow), Bruce Robinson and Ferlanda Kells; his beloved brother, James Robinson; and his cherished sisters, Deborah Miracle and Evangelist Katherine Leonard (Alvin). He also leaves behind his nephews: Shawn Elie Robinson, Keenan Tyrone Robinson, James Anthony Craig (Mikel Fischer), Jason Aaron Craig (Staci), Emmanuel Nathan King, Ibrahim, Muhammad, Musa, Yusuf, Emmanuel “EJ”, Kobe King, and Kamari King, Evann Dittebrand, Louise McKnight IV, and Apollo Craig. His nieces include Brittany Roesch, (Corey), Ashley Craig, (Louis McKnight III), Candice Robinson, Amari McKnight, Amiyah McKnight, Elayna King, Elizabeth King, and Melody King. His loving aunt and uncle, Lady Beth and Bishop Joseph Tompkins, along with a host of extended family members, dear friends, and loved ones whose lives were forever touched by his kindness, strength, and unwavering love. He was a proud grandfather to Mason Robinson, Dominic Ringgold, Dillard Ringgold, and Aliya Silver. Though Phillip’s earthly journey has come to an end, his legacy of faith, love, service, and devotion to his family will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
